I just want to express how amazing the customer service/experience was for me. I called in from Miami to see if they could surprise my dad with a birthday celebration and they did not disappoint! I took it a step further and asked to take care of the full bill and manager Jason was the best with getting it done! He even followed back up with me to ensure everything was smooth. The effort was so appreciated Jason, being so far and having that moment for my dad celebrating his 60th means so much! He was shocked too! My dad sent pics and videos and said the drinks and food were all delicious. Thank you!!

From the moment we walked in, Luanda offered warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The food was authentic and absolutely delicious, with flavors that truly tagged the essence of the cuisine. The caipirinhas were standout—vibrant, well-balanced, and perfectly crafted. The service was attentive and friendly, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a reliable spot with excellent food and a welcoming vibe, Luanda comes highly recommended.

Amazing experience!! We got there late, a table of 6 people around 8:15 pm and kitchen closes at 9 pm on Mondays, but the staff was great with us. Their service was amazing, always checking on us to make sure we were having a good time. The food was delicious!! The drinks as well!! I definitely recommend Luanda … actually, we will be back soon and earlier! Thank you team Luanda!

Luanda Restaurant turned out to be an unexpected surprise. From the outside, it looks quite ordinary, and the interior design is nothing particularly remarkable. However, the food had a comforting, homemade quality that made the visit worthwhile. I started with the Caldo Verde, a traditional collard green and chorizo soup, which had an incredibly rich and flavorful broth—absolutely delicious and very satisfying. The chicken fingers, on the other hand, did not taste homemade and were somewhat average.
For the main course, I had a well-seasoned grilled chicken breast served with crispy fries and flavorful chickpea rice. The combination was simple but hearty and enjoyable. To accompany the meal, I tried two different caipirinhas, one flavored with passion fruit and the other with mango—both were refreshing and well-balanced.
The service was attentive and efficient, making the dining experience even better. There was an 18% surcharge added to the bill, but I didn’t mind it at all, considering the level of service provided. Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by Luanda Restaurant during a visit, especially for those looking to enjoy comforting, homestyle flavors.

Had Luanda cater for my event and received tons of compliments from guests. Food arrived on time and was nice and warm. The staff especially Amelia, was very helpful in taking my order and making great suggestions. Will definitely use them for my next event!

The food was so delicious, we couldn’t stop thinking about it for weeks and had to come back for a birthday celebration. The owner and the staff are so kind, so attentive, and so helpful. A new favorite spot for us that we will be back to frequently. Get the shrimp Mozambique and dip your bread in the sauce – you won’t regret it!

Luanda never disappoints. Located in Brockton, Luanda brings out the delicious flavors of the Cap Verdean cuisine. Large portions, grounded cocktails, and amazing staff. The wait might be longer than other high scale restaurant but all worth it once you taste your food. Definitely worth a visit.

We were looking for authentic Cabo Verdean food and made the drive to Brockton. For the record it’s over an hour drive for us. We have now been here 3 times. The food is amazing – particularly the chicken Mozambique. Get Jayden’s special as an app as well. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Have also had one of the Angolan stews and it was excellent as well.

The food at Luandas is actually pretty good — that’s the main reason I kept giving this place chances. Unfortunately, the customer service and wait times really need serious improvement.
No matter how busy or slow it is, the average wait time is at least an hour or more. At this point, it feels like you have to order two hours in advance just so you’re not starving while waiting. That shouldn’t be the case.
One time, I ordered ahead, showed up over an hour later, and was told the kitchen never even started the order. That’s frustrating, especially when you’re trying to support a local business.
I truly want to see Luandas succeed because the food has potential, but the lack of communication, long wait times, and nonexistent customer service make it hard to keep coming back. Hopefully this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

I enjoyed myself at Luanda. The bartender, Rodney and Amelia, the owner, was very attentive and welcoming. Rodney made a delicious Amelia’s Tea. Had 2. I had the Grilled Octopus dinner. It was tender and savory. The music was nice. Not too loud. They have take out as well. The offerings all looked delicious. I will definitely return.
