I’ve been buying food here for quite some time. The only problem I ever had was that they weren’t putting extra like paid for. Today I asked for light sauce and extra crispy with the General Tso. They said it would be an hour but they were here in 20 min. The chicken was soggy so I said i would just eat the rice. The rice was hard and not cooked as usual. The manager was not at all helpful, except to tell me to bring it back. I’m in a assisted living in a wheelchair. I ate what you see and then threw it out.it Sucked. It shows that if you are a loyal customer, it doesn’t matter.

The owner of this restaurant happened to be shopping at the store where I worked and recommended I try out their food. Conveniently enough, I had been searching for a Chinese restaurant to frequent. So I took heed to the recommendation and tried out their food that same week. To keep it short, the food was excellent and the quick service was very impressive. I also want to praise the kind staff and the restaurant’s clean interior. Just like the owner, I highly recommend 10/10.

This restaurant is up & down. When I order food especially rice I want to see my pork & vegetables. Dorothy your magic wand worked tonight. My food was perfect. My sons wings were cooked to perfection and my rice, hats off 2 you. I order every week & stopped 4 many reasons. Must say the service & food was absolutely phenomenal. I like their food, it’s not oozing with cheap oil, not salt. We usually get chicken broccoli and vegetables Lo main. Rice sometimes is over cooked, but still tastes fine. Other than that I think their quality is great. I love that they hired girls from various backgrounds, which brings great service. Each time I order food, it comes out very fast.

I ordered the boneless spare ribs combo with pork fried rice, a piece of carrot cake, and they threw in an egg roll with the combo. Best dinner ever. The meat was tender and delicious, the rice didn’t need any sauce, the carrot cake was moist, best Chinese food I’ve had in years and I’m not exaggerating.

A friend and I ordered a few dishes from them today using Peking’s old phone number. I believe Peking was bought out by Jumbo Buffett, as I heard someone answering the phone in the background during my call saying Jumbo Buffett and Peking’s is closed down, as I learned after the fact. We liked Peking in the past, and they had nice people working there. Today I ordered and the woman on the phone had the nastiest additude. She picked up the phone and said “what?” and she kept sighing while I spoke, it seemed like I was bothering her. Her tone was really rude too. I have recommended both Peking and Jumbo Buffett to people in the past for a decent meal, but I don’t think I will anymore. They said it would take 30-45 minutes and it was finally delivered an hour later. The food was meh, my friend didn’t like the brown rice and their chicken was cold, my sweet sour pork was okay but I’ve had much better. The delivery driver was very nice, but the rude woman really put a damper on the experience. There’s better places out there with decent food that don’t make you feel like you’re bothering them or they’ll spit in your food for daring to call them.
Update: two of my coworkers ordered from Jumbo Buffett the day after I did, one just found it cold and disgusting, the other found metal bits in his rice. We will not be ordering from here again.

This place is amazing. I order from here weekly , the crab Rangoon is perfect and they give a good portion. The BBQ boneless spare ribs are perfect. They remain consistent with their recipes and I am grateful for it. They have excellent service.

I’ve been coming to this place for years I want to say probably over 10 years. They used to have really great customer service. The woman in the front with the glasses is very rude and has nasty attitude. Also they are charging a fee for debit card, which is illegal in CT. Also noticed that they confiscate the receipt and when I asked for my receipt, she became hostile and just printed a generalize receipt which didn’t match what I was charged on my card.

Actually didn’t want to write this but people have to be aware… couple months ago i ordered my usual favorite from here one day boneless ribs and yellow rice and while on the phone, lady answers with nothing but disrespect (as some of the other reviews on here stated… may be same woman) and basically asked me “what”twice and I was shocked bcuz I’m always good with everyone here but fast forward she was huffing and puffing as I’m telling her my usual order which takes no longer than 25 secs and I told her never mind it’s okay and hung up so I won’t get a spit salad in my food (mind you i give everyone here a tip of 5$ or more for DELIVERY AND when I PICKUP i give tip for them to bring out to car (Not that it’s all about tips but come on now

I’ve always thought this place was a little pricey and then others but today I brought some lunch there and when I looked at the receipt I had to shake my head. First of all they charge me for the sauce that comes on all the boneless spareribs. I have bought this meal from several other Chinese restaurants around the city and I have never seen that on the receipt. The next thing that I thought was insane was that they charge me for the plastic bag they gave me my food in. Hear me out I know that a lot of places charge for bags but one I didn’t ask for the bag they put my food in a bag so I thought that’s what they do because sometime they just give you your food in the brown paper bag which I always get. But they put my food in the brown paper bag plus in a plastic bag which once again I never asked for and then charge me for it. Then when I got there the guy said that my food will be $16 plus Because I am paying within card. A lot of people might not agree with what I’m saying but like I said before I’ve been to several other Chinese restaurants in the area ordering the same thing and I never pay more than $12. That will definitely be the last time I buy a meal from this restaurant.
