Tajima Ramen in Crown Point has a very well-designed interior that feels stylish yet comfortable, making it a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The ramen noodles were thick and nicely curly, which paired well with the flavorful soup. The broth was satisfying and enjoyable. I was a bit unsure about the fried rice, but the gyoza was decent and complemented the meal well. Overall, a solid spot for ramen with a pleasant atmosphere.

From 4 days ago: I just finished my takeout order – got the tonkotsu and it was very tasty. I ran into an issue with my order, probably my fault, but the manager Liliana got me sorted out. Good food that comes with great customer service is always a reason for me to go back, which is what I’ll be doing the next time I’m looking to get some ramen!

I had the Christmas Special Ramen bowl, and my-oh-my was it amazing. If i could have finished 2 bowls, I would have. I also got the chicken finger thing appetizer and it was fantastic as well. Wonderful staff and a totally great experience. I will definitely be eating here again the next time I’m in Pacific Beach. I also go the Gyoza which were flavorful and didn’t seem to come from a frozen bag like most you order nowadays. I had photos but deleted them, and don’t take photos of my food. it was just that good i had to share with a friend who lived in Japan for a few years.

I had dinner here the other night and was amazed how good the miso ramen is! Our server, Maralin, recommend it! she also recommended a beer to go with it when I was unsure which to order and it went perfectly with my ramen! I love this Tajima because the food and drinks are great and the service is amazing.

Tajima is a go-to for rich, comforting ramen.
The broth is deep and flavorful, the noodles have great texture, and everything feels thoughtfully made.
It’s consistently satisfying and always hits when you’re craving a warm, cozy bowl.
Marilyn and Lily are the best servers!

First time at this location but we are no strangers to Tajima. Service was quick ramen was delicious everything came out hot and fresh. This is the fourth location we’ve tried and none have disappointed. Really close to the beach too so perfect for a walk after the food.

If you’re looking for somewhere that will get you seated quickly with food coming out shortly thereafter, this is not the place. If you’re looking for top notch ramen, this is the place. You will have to wait 45 minutes for a table, your server will forget to ask you for your order, and your food will take 30+ minutes to come out. It just seems like they’re short staffed. The ramen is excellent though.

Food was good, but service was meh. Maybe a shift change, but there was a lot of standing around and not much work. We started with one server, and after they took our order and drinks, we didn’t see them again. We weren’t really sure who to ask for things, and no one was checking on us. I ended up standing up and asking for refills, to-go containers, and dessert. While we waited for our dessert, we sat with our dirty dishes while the staff sat around. The server delivered the dessert, and I asked if they could take the dirty dinner dishes. The server seemed surprised when I asked, took two sets I had pushed to the end of the table, and left the rest of the dirty dishes. So we had to reach around dirty dishes to share our dessert. It just seemed very lazy, and I would not leave a bad tip, but for the first time, I really wanted to leave a bad one. I’m in shock that, first, I had to ask for the empty dishes to be removed, and even more so at the reaction to my request. I shouldn’t be made to feel like I’m being needy when it’s basic serving skills. Remove plates when customers are done. We don’t pay to sit with dirty dishes while you discuss your New Year’s with coworkers.

I love this place! The staff is all wonderful and on top of things. The vegan ramen is delicious, the tofu is very well marinated. The garlic edamame is absolutely amazing, its the best ive ever had and i recommend adding the chili / spice and salt thats in the black jars on table. I’d buy the spice if they sold it for my own kitchen! The color changing cocktail is also probably my favorite one i’ve ever tried, it reminds me of a floral tea. 12/10 recommend!
