An honest food review!
My husband and I love pho, and we’ve tried a few places now. We usually like to “validate our parking” (try it a few times) before giving a review — and it was honestly hard not to write one after our very first visit because we were already in love with it.
We rate each place based on the broth, noodle texture, and the quality of the ingredients. I always order the pork pho (115), and my husband gets the beef pho (100). Every single time, it hits. The broth is easily one of the best pho broths we’ve tried — rich, flavourful, and comforting. The pork and beef are both very good, and the ingredients are always fresh and high quality.
We’ve also tried other items on the menu, and everything has been amazing. Even their chilli oil deserves a shoutout — spicy, flavourful, and so good.
This restaurant is truly our favourite. If you love pho, this place is a must.

A new favourite spot right by the GCTC (with perks for members)! Friendly staff, good deals, and food for everyone (including vegetarians / vegans) and some dishes I tried for the first time (seabass panang curry). Recommend making a reservation as it’s a popular spot (as it should be).

First time here, recommended by a family friend. The environment was so lovely as there was no loud music so all 11 of us could talk with one another! The temperature was perfect, and the staff were outstanding.

I came at 8:50 PM and they closed at nine. I managed to feed me and I was out of there in 15 minutes. Great service and the food was spectacular. I got the beef broth with grilled beef and spring roll. I will definitely be back again

2nd attempt even better than the first one! This place is definitely one of the best Vietnamese places I’ve been to. Everything about it is great and to the point, service, taste, price, atmosphere. I honestly like everything about this place and from now on it’s one of my to go places for asian food. This time around I tried the beef noodle soup and loved it. Highly recommend. Well done for the great experience this restaurant offers to its guests.

One thing I really appreciated was how clean the washroom was. We started with the special chicken soup, which was perfect for a cold winter day—exactly the kind of comforting soup you crave. They also serve a light Asian tea that pairs really well with the food, which we really enjoyed.
For our mains, we ordered chicken and beef Pad Thai, and both were amazing. Everything came out hot, which I really liked. We also tried the deep-fried chicken dumplings, and they were delicious.
Highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be back!

Listen. This is the ultimate Pho place in this city. Whether it is in person or through uber eats the team at Pho Van Van will take good care of you. The broth is so flavourful and delicious, the portion sizes are so great, it’s priced fairly reasonably and it’s quickly become my go to spot when the need for Pho is strong. Rice wraps are also really delicious and are made fresh so it doesn’t get that weird chewy texture either!
Let them know you have a dietary restriction as soon as you can and they will make recommendations for you and be very accommodating. I’m gluten free/dairy free and they took good care of me.

A nice and cozy Vietnamese restaurant. The food is fairly tasty and served artistically. The place is usually a bit tight and crowded, to the extent that it seems there isn’t enough space. The servers are cordial and helpful. The place has street parking.
