In the context of fast food restaurants, Bojangles has become one of my top options. They’re obviously focused on various chicken dishes, but I think they produce solid results across the board, including fried chicken, bowls, and sandwiches. I also enjoy the selection of sides, despite them being a bit too salty sometimes. The restaurants that I’ve visited have been quite clean and well-maintained, much better than the burger chain competition. Finally and significantly, staff members tend to be friendly and professional. I also appreciate that restaurant offer a military discount. Poopeyes, at least the one near me, doesn’t have it. Thank you, Bojangles. ❤️

While driving up Rt29, leaving the Charlottesville area, I stopped in to this Bojangles near the airport for a chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich. The folks working the counter were pretty friendly and the inside was relatively clean. My food tasted decent and was fresh. My only issue was that there was someone sleeping in the lobby and I don’t mean they were just passed out, but they were cuddled up in a blanket with their shoes off, laying on the floor next to their booth and they had a bag next to the booth (clothing/personal items?). I’m not sure if it was an employee, homeless person, or customer, but it was very odd and definitely not appropriate for a restaurant.

I didn’t rate the atmosphere, because I didn’t go inside, just the drive-thru. But the food is great, and the guy taking the orders knew the menu really well.

Everytime I go to this bojangles, they serve me old food or cold food. The chicken tenders pictured here looked like they’d been cooked 12 hours ago. I’ve given them numerous chances bc I really like bojangles but this one can’t seem to get it right. Try another location if you actually want food that’s edible.
