Service was great and the food tasted great!! However the portioning seemed small vs the price paid.
Guacamole was $5 but could have been larger.
Full dinner plate was also small compared to the price paid. This comparison is based on my experiences eating out Mexican in Kansas City.
Drinks are always hit or miss, but my wife felt the $5 margarita had little tequila in it.

Mexican food and Mid-west are two words that really don’t go together….until we found this place! The food here was as good as you find in Southern California or Arizona. Carne asada had flavor and was perfect. Light chips and salsa with flavor and just enough bite to work. Definitely a must stop and enjoy real food!!

Cute little place surrounded by a ghost town. Tasty food, speedy service, good portions, and decent prices. Easy to get on and off the highway. Highly recommend. We got the #3 vegetarian and the shrimp fajita. Would have liked a bit more guacamole but pretty standard. Comes with complimentary chips and salsa. Great pit stop!

This place was found by accident. I was driving home from KC and stopped in after a Chiefs game. The food was actually really good & I’ll check it out again in the future. Fresh chicken & the beans and rice were awesome. They had really good homemade tomatillo sauce too!

Every time we’ve gone here, we’ve never had to wait to be seated. The servers are pretty quick about getting you the chips, salsa, and drinks. The booths feel a little cramped sometimes because the seats move a little.
The food has always been good for a Mexican dinner night and is usually served pretty quick. The atmosphere is good as well, except this last time we went there, the meriachi band that came out for a birthday was super loud.
Overall, there are no complaints about our visits here. We will continue to visit here in the future!
