Food was awful!! Chicken lo mein was black and clumped / stuck together and the chicken was either leftover and old or so badly overcooked it’s was rubber. Sweet n sour chicken, the chicken was so hard I couldn’t chew it and the pork fried rice was dry and tasted like it was cooked in dirty dish water. Both of us are sick with diarrhea and stomach pain. Order was take out and we live 15 miles away. Roads were bad because of the snow yesterday or this garbage would have gone right back.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Unless you want a rancid laxative.

BEST Chinese food around! They price was super good for the portion they give you, and the food was so scrumptious! Will be back!! They have a place to sit.

We moved to this area a year ago and finally found a great Chinese restaurant in Hong Xin! The Crab Rangoons were crispy and creamy, the Beef Lo Mein was so flavorful and delicious, the Lemon Chicken was battered thinly and fried perfectly while the sauce was sweet and vibrant. Absolutely delighted and will be making this a regular choice.

Overall this was fairly disappointing. I suppose my expectations were too high since I come from a town with several Chinese joints that actually have to compete. Firstly, they are very slow. We stood there while they made our food, and it did not seem busy. They just move at a snail’s pace. They told us 25 minutes, which already seemed long, but it ended up being 40. And the food was just not great. The egg drop soup was very gelatinous in texture; the sesame chicken was hard, dry, and tough (I’m not the only reviewer who said this); and the fried rice was dry and bland. I ate a few bites so as to satisfy my hunger and threw the rest away.

now here’s a place that knows how to do its general tso’s correctly. Amazing service and very kind people that run this joint. The young man that handed me my food was the most polite person i have ever met and deserves a huge raise. I stand by the fact that hong xin is the GOAT of chinese cuisine!!!!!

The tall bald asian man is so unpleasant, extremely unprofessional. I ordered a Happy Family with white rice. I have ordered this from many other places and not one time was there ever huge mushrooms in it. Highly allergic to them, I called to see if I could either have it re-made or exchanged for something else and id pay the difference or let them keep the difference if it was less. The lady told me to come back and she would fix it. The moment i walked in the man was yelling and just pure nasty to me. uhm hello excuse me, i dont want anything from your restaurant.. i want my money back now. Ive eaten here once before & it was nasty, dry & no flavor. I figured id give them another chance bc im working in the area but this place needs better understanding of customer service!

Personally I have no idea why this restaurant has not receive higher ratings! We were hesitant to order from there because of it. Imagine how delighted we were when the food was amazingly delicious! We have ordered from there several times since. Also their employees are so polite and friendly!!!

Broccoli tastes like freezer burn. Dried up and tough. Shrimp was terrible. I wouldn’t eat it. My husband ate this food. Not like it used to be. It’s too bad!

Food and service were excellent. Prices are very reasonable. They only offered take out. We would have liked to dine in, but that’s ok. We will order again soon.

Called to order lunch for my coworkers and I. No patience whatsoever for taking a call with 4 orders. 2 of us went to pick the orders up. She was very irritated that I payed for our 4 orders separately. We received no plasticware and only 2 fortune cookies. Will not be back. I recommend the pearl house. Much better customer service.
