Great place, honestly one of the best I’ve ever been to. This location and the Carolina Forest one are fantastic. That being said I don’t know what happened tonight with the people behind the counter tonight.
The guy with the backwards hat was really great but it seemed like he was by himself. The young lady he had on shift with him was totally disgusting, it was so weird to walk into a place to try and get some pizza and watch as this woman became more and more irritated with having to do her job. She literally was lamenting about the fact that people were inside the lobby around 7:50pm, and openly talked about throwing them out and not even let them finish their food. She was adamant about the lobby not being open, she was nasty to the guy about the store, and she was especially disgusting to us out of nowhere. We came in and we tried to get a pizza and they barely had put any cheese on it, it didn’t even cover the pie. We asked for more from the guy but after we did his rude coworker in the back spoke up and was adamant on him not giving us more cheese. She said that we could get more cheese at the end and that he wasn’t even supposed to give us the amount he had. Lady, who puts cold cheese on a finished pizza? That coupled with the fact that she was practically standing over him being very rude about how they didn’t have enough ingredients to even last them the rest of the shift (they did, MOD closes at 9 like cmon now), it ruined our whole experience.
We literally just said we didn’t want it anymore after she made two people feel awkward over some subway pizza, and walked out just to write this review. I wish I knew their names, but if you’re the owner seeing this give that guy with the backwards hat a raise! He was doing everything he could. We went at 7:50pm on February 19th. The lady who was really rude had dark hair tied back, blue jeans and a mod pizza shirt on with the new tron movie logo on the back.
If you want good pizza made without hate, go to River Oaks Pizzeria!

Usually the food is excellent but this time our pizzas were both burned. It appeared that the employees were mostly new and struggling. This won’t prevent us from going back. We will wait awhile so these folks can get trained better

The staff is helpful and pays attention to detail in the food prep, customized orders and cleanliness of the restaurant. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing. Mod size pizza enough for 2 meals and equally fresh the next day. Highly recommend the balsamic drizzle!!

Custom made pizza to each person’s liking with an assortment of toppings for about $12. Awesome!
Many selections of crust including cauliflower, gluten free, regular, etc., and 6-8 sauces, then add protein and toppings.

This is the first time I actually used your app in order to get points -I eat there at least twice a week-I ordered my pizza online this time. I asked for extra mushrooms and onions in selections & in the notes section. I said please extra extra mushrooms and onions. When I got to the location, -the pizza looked between light and regular all the things I really wanted-so while I was there, I explained this was the first time with MOD app and that could we please go ahead and add more of the mushrooms and onions that, I would be OK with going home and heat the pizza up. I did get extra toppings for both. But I did ask for a little extra mushrooms. Your female caucasian agent -brown hair in a ponytail, said you can’t get anymore. She said for the amount of toppings that I had on there she cut me off “already as pictured with the extra toppings in photos ” . I was perplexed speechless- As everything is posted is unlimited toppings. I walked outside, but I came back in and I asked for her name-because as in a large company like yours as well as mine, to make you strong, I needed to reported if something really off happens- I love your place. I’ve always ordered in person before and got everything that I needed fine. You can ask many of the folks that work at the Surfside location off of 544 Commons Dr. I think they’ve all waited on me in person to order pizzas. She would not give me her name. She said, she didn’t have to give her name and I think she also said that I could come see management on Monday. As I work as a customer advisor -you don’t have to give your last name, but your first you do and I wear a name tag.
As this was my first time using the app. Since May 1 to today the 16th I’ve spent close to $70 at your store. I really love it. I work at a large company and I’m customer service advisor myself -so I’m also say going to say I’m an expert after being there 20 years in the field. I have never had this happen to me before. I’m not looking for anything free. Let’s just say between 630 and 7- and it’s now 840. I still have not eaten that pizza. You know when you’re too upset for words. Thank you, signed your faithful customer. I have posted eight pictures for you to view management.
Please get back to me.

Since this was our first time here we ordered three different pizzas to taste test. First, we ordered the Maddy Pizza with pepperoni and salami. A cheesy pizza meets flavorful meats that make this pizza taste even better. Second, we ordered the Dillon James which is a Margherita Pizza. The fresh tomatoes were perfectly cooked and sweet, and paired with the flavorful red sauce and cheese made this pizza a favorite. Third and final, we ordered the Calexico Pizza which was a spicy buffalo chicken pizza. This pizza had the perfect balance of chicken, shredded cheese, jalapenos, Gorgonzola cheese and red sauce. No one ingredient overpowered the other which helped make this a great pizza. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive.

Very good thin crust pizza. Every pizza is made to order with whatever toppings you like. Cooked quickly in a wood fire oven. It has been our current favorite place to go for pizza.

Honestly the best pizza in the area without driving 1 hour each way to NMB for Ledo’s, and Nicole and Evelyn are the best employees. The whole team is nice but they stood out as very nice and helpful and hardworking.

First time experiencing MOD, and it was delicious. The red sauce made the pizza. Pricing was mind blowing…from one typing to all their toppings, the price was the same. Being our first time, we didn’t know what Mini meant…. It’s like personal size pizza (like you can get at another famous pizza place). We had a good laugh about this, but We will be back…
