My wife and I recently went to this Chuy’s for lunch and had a great experience. This is a smaller location but performs as good as any other chuys. Be prepared to you have a small wait During the times on the weekend.
I ordered the boom boom chicken, enchiladas and they were great. We also got an order of quesadillas and Tres cheesecake The quesadillas are similar in size to a taco and you get four or five of them with the order and they have a light fry on them. My wife really enjoyed them.
For dessert, we had a tres leches cake and it was phenomenal. Came out, served nice and cold as well as a chilled plate
Our service was great. We even had a waiter that was in training to help out and they both did a great job.
We will continue going to this location rather than dallas or Plano.

Atmosphere was really nice could tell the place has lot of history. Very nice size portion meals. Great prices. The waiter Jade was exceptional. Reason for 4 stars although the food portion was nice the meal wasn’t that tasty, was kind of bland lacking seasoning. The margaritas were good, but couldn’t taste the alcohol it tastes like I was just drinking juice. The food plating and drink presentation was nice. The manager was nice to check in with us to make sure we were enjoying our visit and even provided a complimentary chips and dip card for our next visit being this was our first visit to this establishment. Other than that the place and people were friendly. Thank you.

Amazing artwork to enjoy while waiting, and the chips and salsa were definitely on point! The service was fast and smooth every staff member worked together like a community, which made everything run perfectly. The morning crew was especially amazing. My food came out hot (super hot so watch out!), and I loved how all the flavors complemented each other. As for dessert, I really wanted to enjoy something sweet, but I was so full I had to take the rest home. Overall, a wonderful experience! Especially, if you enjoy tex-mex or just saucy spicy food.

I have to be honest, I didn’t think I would like this place because it is a chain. I was wrong. Food was good, loved their chips and salsa! Service was good and a really fun atmosphere. I’ll go back for sure.

Love the patio at Chuy’s, went for a birthday party and all the colors and the vibe was the perfect party scene. The waitstaff was so bubbly and fun, however it seems like some of the orders didn’t make it out on time. The plating of the food was sloppy and tasted that way, and some of the food that took longer seemed to look better. It was pretty much hit and miss, however the evening was memorable. Try it out, hopefully the experience is better for you.

Chuy’s in Terrell has become a complete failure.
My family and I went the other night, and honestly, I wish we had gone to Taco Bell instead.
The experience was bad from the start. We waited over 10 minutes just to get our drinks after being seated. When the food finally arrived, it was grossly cold and clearly rushed out without care. The waitress was unprofessional and inattentive, which only made things worse.
To top it off, my daughter-in-law woke up sick afterward — not something you ever want associated with a night out to eat.
This wasn’t just a bad meal; it was a disgrace of an experience. What’s especially frustrating is that this location used to be enjoyable. Whatever has changed recently has completely wrecked the service, food quality, and atmosphere.
I’ll be clear: I will not be going back.

The wait was an hour n half on a Saturday evening. Once seated DAVID was welcoming and wonderful overall as our server.
The food was mediocre and lacking flavor. We got the Elvis and Fajita chicken taco salad. Both lacked flavor and or seasoning. The fries in the kids meal our boys got had more seasoning.
We’ll try it out again in a few months to see if it’s improved. Happy Holidays David thanks for being a great server!! You made our visit great.

Great quality food with even better drinks. I recommend getting anything on the menu with boom boom sauce. It does get busy so I enjoy sitting at the bar. Alex and Jo are amazing bartenders!

This was our first time visiting the Terrell location. Cannot for our daughter’s bday.
The restaurant is clean, and in order. The staff is very aware of what’s going on and in control of everything(management was around helping out too, getting tables ready and helping servers)
Food quality is amazing, and definitely up to every other Chuys par(we LOVE Chuys)

Don’t normally do this but this experience was awful. So they told us it was a 5 min wait they were just going to clean the table. It took them more than 20 minutes to sit us. Mind you the table was cleaned right away but even then the two girls in the front kept telling us we have to wait. People coming in and they were being seated right away. Then we get seated they took our order on drinks and appetizers. Mind you our waitress was awesome she went above and beyond due to everything that was going on. So she gets our order and she tells us it’s going to be a long wait bcuz we have a new cook she said he’s very backed up in orders. Okay cool we understand my question is does he not have any help back there? Was he the main cook? Or what bcuz it took him almost 2 hours for our food to arrive. Rice didn’t have flavor, enchiladas needed more cheese they were dry, the hot sauce wasn’t good. I’ve gone to the chuys in Fort Worth and those are good idk the one on Terrell needs a lot of improvement. Will not be going back there again.
