The dosa was perfectly crispy and went great with the allam and peanut chutneys along with the sambar, everything tasted just right. We also tried a few Indo-Chinese dishes, and they were some of the best we’ve had, with bold, authentic street-style flavors. Also loved the buzzer when the food was ready, simple and convenient.
Definitely recommend.
Truck Tuesday Biryani is an easy win $9.99 for biryani… who does that anymore? And Thursday’s Best Buddy Combo (two snacks plus two tea for just $11.99) is super cool and totally worth it. We tried it today and instantly fell in love, pretty sure we’ll be repeating this every Tuesday and Thursday
Their weekly specials are thoughtfully planned too. Wok-It Wednesday is perfect for Indo-Chinese cravings, and Tiffin-It Thursday is great when you want a little bit of everything South Indian on one plate.
Good food, great value, and fun specials that keep you coming back. Definitely worth trying.
A little hard to find – set back about 500 ft from Broad Street, across from Yardwork’s landscaping supply.
Setting is very nice, with a half-dozen picnic tables set under some trees with a pastoral view of farmland and the driving range of the golf course next door.
I had the Chicken Biryani and thought it was excellent. About 5 pieces of reasonably large, fall-off-the-bone chicken hidden under the mound of fluffy rice. Seasoning on the chicken was excellent – did have a pleasant amount of heat. Loved the peanut sauce they served with it on the side. An incredible value at under $12.
Somewhat limited menu during lunch time – 3 curries (goat, dal and veggie korma) plus the biryani, but didn’t bother me. Food was ready in just over 5 minutes.
My 2 suggestions – not sure anyone needs an onion slice that large (it was probably a half-inch thick | save you some on food costs plus co-workers and relatives will thank you!) and I’d like to see some sort of menu posted (whether paper, a chalk board or QR code) that describes what is being served that particular day.
I’ll definitely be back! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
The lamb biryani was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, and the chicken 65 was simply outstanding — crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. But the real highlight for me was the jackfruit biryani… it was amazing! Such a wonderful vegetarian option with incredible taste and texture.
I also really appreciate how well they understand and adjust spice levels, which makes the food enjoyable for all preferences.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, flavorful, and perfectly spiced dishes!!!
Masala Wheels is a hidden gem parked right on the main street near Manakin Sabot, and it’s quickly becoming a favorite in the area! This vibrant food truck offers a delightful Indian street food experience at pocket-friendly prices.
We tried the Nellore KaraPodi Dosa, which was packed with bold flavors, along with Chilli Paneer and Mirchi Bajji—each dish fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Their chai was the perfect companion to the breezy evening weather. The vibe was great with a steady stream of happy customers, which shows how popular it’s becoming.
If you’re craving authentic South Indian snacks in a casual, feel-good setup, Masala Wheels is a must-visit! Will definitely be going back for more.
I highly recommend everyone to visit Masala Wheels if you’re craving authentic Indian-style food. The taste truly feels like home!
We ordered noodles, Chicken 65, punugulu, and mirchi bajji — and honestly, everything was so delicious. The mirchi bajji and punugulu are my absolute favorites! The flavors are perfectly balanced and remind me of proper Indian street food.
Their Chicken Biryani is an all-time favorite — a must-try for sure. And don’t even get me started on the Maska Bun… OMG! It was so soft, buttery, and literally melting in the mouth. I absolutely loved it!
Every dish we tried was amazing. Definitely a place you should visit and try for yourself.
Their Indo-Chinese dishes are pure street-style spicy, flavorful, and totally satisfying. And when it comes to biryanis, they seriously nailed it. The Thalapakattu Biryani, Boneless chicken Biryani, and Chicken Dum Biryani are all authentic, aromatic, and cooked to perfection every time.
I’m also really happy they’ve started serving lunch now from Tue to Fri ( 11: 30 Am to 2: 00 Pm)! The veg and non-veg platters are great value — only $10.99 and $11.99 and come with plenty of variety and generous portions.
Don’t miss their tea and bun maska such a perfect combo. Plus, they’ve even set up a firepit to keep everyone warm while enjoying their food a really nice touch.
If you love South Indian food or Indo-Chinese street flavors, you’ve got to try Masala Wheels. Great taste, great value, and super friendly service ❤️…
Our group of 15-16 people ordered a diverse range of starters including samosas, chilli paneer, chicken 65, and their signature curry leaves dry chicken, followed by all three dum biryanis.
Although we were initially apprehensive about placing a bulk order, having enjoyed their other dishes such as veg noodles and dosa items, we felt confident in giving them a try for our party. Mr. Sreedhar delivered on his promise, and the food was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. We highly recommend giving them a chance to serve you, as they truly excel in their service.
