The roasted oysters from Soko Oyster in Solaire Social food hall in Silver Spring caught me by surprise! A nice surprise. We ordered 6 each of the brown butter bacon & Parmesan garlic roasted oysters & they were delicious!
I definitely liked the brown butter bacon the best! Packed with a nice rich and slightly smoky flavor from the bacon. Tasty!!
I would go back for those.

The service was great and ambience was nice. It was chatting with the chef and staff.
If you like oysters roasted or raw on the half shell and find yourself in this neck of the woods, I would suggest giving Soko Oysters a try.

Fantastic Oysters! I really like the Japanese inspired sauce and seaweed that comes with it. They also serve em up with horseradish, cocktail sauce, and a vinaigrette.
My go to order is a half dozen oysters and a soko burger with beef tallow fries. Don’t get me started on the Philly, the wings, and the brisket. Oh, lowkey, they have the best coleslaw I’ve ever had. Salute!
