Thank you to all the reviews. The building may look abandoned on the outside, and it may be loud (from chefs performing), but it is so much amazing food for the price. Staff is very friendly and service was fast. Even though our entertaining table was just my husband and I, they still did our food there. Great place!!!

We been to this establishment several times with a good experience. But today we had an unwanted guest at our table. There was a cockroach crawling on our table while we were preparing to eat. This ruined our appetite and really ruined the mood for our birthday lunch for a family member. We notified the manager and was told that they just sprayed last week. We were given a small discount for the inconvenience. Overall horrible experience.

Meh, it was okay I guess. Last couple times I have went the chef doesn’t do tricks or really interact with the customer at all anymore. They literally just push the cart out, ask your preference on how you want your steak and then cook. They have removed the entertainment aspect.

Placed my ground with another group, which was fine, but the other party had a birthday kid. Luckily the family was sweet to us on our date night and didn’t hesitate to talk to us. Steak was way overcooked for medium rare so we ended up taking it to go, and so did the other party.

We were skeptical at first because most of the reviews we read were very negative…but they were 100% WRONG! This was WITHOUT A DOUBT the ABSOLUTE BEST Hibachi dinner we have EVER experienced!!! Yes business is slow and it looked like they were closed from the outside, but once we got inside, we experienced IMMEDIATE service from a very cordial waitress. Drinks in hand within 5 minutes. Food being prepared within 10 minutes! The chef was very nice and skilled in the traditional hibachi style of cooking, including the traditional “egg rolls”, “shrimp flips” and “volcano”. Hottest sake I’ve ever tasted. The portions were the LARGEST we’ve ever received. We left with 3 boxes of take home goodness!!! Give Yamato a try if you are looking for a high quality, delicious and generally affordable hibachi experience!

This was our 1st time to ever try this place and it was an enjoyable experience. Our chef was skilled and funny and kept us entertained throughout our meal. The food was cooked exactly how we asked and was very good. We upgraded to the fried rice and was very pleased with our choice. We ordered the steak and shrimp and the steak and chicken and the portions were plenty, combined with the rice and fresh grilled vegetables it made for a delicious meal. It was around $25 for each of the combo meals with the fried rice and we took leftovers home. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good food and good entertainment! It is pretty noisy in there at times with the chief banging his spatulas on the grill and especially if someone in your party or in a party close to you has a birthday so if you have sensitive ears or have a infant who might want to sleep you might want to choose a different place.

We had so much fun here! Our waitress was kind, helpful, informative, and took great care of us. Our chef was hilarious, talented, and so great!! We had the best time. Easily 80% of our food came home with us in our to go box! So much delicious food! I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Had a great waitress and cook. The service was amazing and our chef was excellent. Jamie our waitress and Rotson our chef both did amazing. The food was spot on and service impressive. For the 1st time in 20 years the Sushi roll was perfectly done. Thank you for a great meal.
