ASPIC est un restaurant gastronomique à taille humaine fondé en 2016 et dont les cuisines sont dirigées par le chef Matteo Giua. Nous privilégions les produits de saison, les circuits courts et les vins de vignerons. Nous servons un menu dégustation unique en sept temps à 119€ afin de garantir la fraîcheur de ce que nous proposons et de privilégier l’expérience culinaire. ASPIC propose une cuisine gastronomique au plus près des gens : de ceux qui produisent et préparent les produits à ceux qui les dégustent. (Le restaurant ayant une capacité très réduite, nous ne sommes malheureusement pas en mesure d’accueillir les poussettes et enfants en bas age.)

A very cozy and intimate place with a calm atmosphere, designed for a small number of guests. The chef and the whole team do an excellent job – everything feels well thought out and harmonious. The choice of dishes is interesting and beautifully balanced, with a clear focus on organic products and a wonderful variety of ingredient combinations. Everything was absolutely delicious!

My wife and I dined here this evening. An absolutely wonderful meal and ephemeral experience while visiting Paris over Thanksgiving: A 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing in an intimate 20 seat setting made it unforgettable. The dishes were exceptional. The meat course, cheese plate, and dessert alone are worth their weight in gold.

We were very unimpressed by the taste of the food and quality of the wine pairings. One wine in particular was deeply fatigued, perhaps opened for the previous evening’s service?

We ended up settling our bill and left the restaurant mid-service, which we have never even contemplated doing before.

Staff were lovely, but this meal did not come close to meeting our expectations for fine dining.

So disappointing, but our misfortune here lead to wonderful discoveries around Paris with the time we recovered.

This place was the bomb! To be entirely fair, we were the only couple in the restaurant and we are generally easy, so service had an easy time of it. But they were outstanding regardless. The whole team there (and we met them all, I think) was super-friendly, and our primary server, who I think doubled as the sommelier, gave us extra wine when we casually expressed our wine preferences.

I understand they recently lost a Michelin star, and I can’t imagine why. Everything was outstanding! 10/10 would eat here again!

We had a seven course menu, each plate was curated thoughtfully. Meals were multi-dimensional thanks to great balance of texture, spice, elements and seasonality. Only plate that was not as memorable as others was the entrecôte. But all the rest were delicious.

The team and service were beyond excellent! They even surprised us with candles for our wedding anniversary. Big thank you to the chef and the staff for a great dinner and night!

Overall, it’s a good experience with my wife and daughter for dinner. The scallop was cooked to its perfection. It’s fresh, tender, creamy and can melt in the mouth. The fish lost a little crispness, and the bitterness of veggie overwhelmed the delicacy of the fish. The steak is a bit chewy, the shining star is the mushroom in the dish, with lovely acid and fragrance. All cookies are a bit soft (being cold for too long?) and weakened the texture, this is true in dessert as well.
Chef special Cookies at the end are all good, with infusion of sea salt, fennel, anise, ginger and seaweed etc.

Lovely restaurant with tables. Food was great only dew things we didn’t enjoy very much was the meat and the cheese dish. Otherwise the rest was fabulous, the small appetizers were delicious, the sardines as well. The scallops were extremely well done, perfectly cooked, tender. The desert as well were amazing.

My boyfriend took me there for my birthday dinner. We had a 7 course meal with 2 desserts and the servers were brilliant in explaining everything to us so precisely. At the end of the dinner the chef came himself to have a conversation with us which was so lovely. This place deserves a five star rating for the excellent service and experience they provide.
