The service was quick and friendly from start to finish. The chicken wings were the best Asian-inspired wings we’ve ever had! The shrimp tempura roll was absolutely delicious. To drink, we had a beer, a delicious margarita, and a mojito — all fantastic.
This is one happy hour you can’t miss. The prices are amazing, and the food is even better than the price!
Thank you Noel and all the staff for a great experience!
Tonight I ordered my usual dragon roll and when I got home, the avocado was clearly old and discolored. Not just on one piece, but throughout the roll. For an $18 roll, that’s really disappointing. I tried picking it off a couple pieces at first, but it was obvious the quality just wasn’t there.
I completely understand that mistakes happen. What bothered me was how it was handled. When I called, the manager offered 15% off if I drove back to pick up a new roll, since I had already removed the avocado from two pieces. After being a loyal customer for years and spending so much here, that response honestly felt dismissive. I would have expected them to simply replace it without making it feel like I was asking for too much.
I’ve always been a fan of this place, which is why this was such a letdown. I hope it was just an off night, but the quality and the way it was handled definitely changed how I feel about ordering again.
I really enjoyed the sushi — it looked amazing and tasted great. However, the sauce dishes they brought had a chip in them, which was quite unpleasant. In an expensive place, it’s disappointing to be served chipped or low-quality tableware, and that honestly bothered me.
As for the atmosphere, everything is very well thought out. The design is beautiful, the entrance looks great, and there are some very cool elements that reflect a subtle Japanese style. That said, what I really didn’t like was the restroom — it had an unpleasant smell and gave the impression that not enough attention or investment was put into it. That was a bit disappointing.
In terms of food recommendations:
– Salmon nigiri is a must — the quality is very high.
– Rice with vegetables was also very good.
– The shrimp in spicy sauce were absolutely amazing — one of the best dishes I’ve tried, highly recommend it.
I would also suggest that the service team work a bit more on their guest interaction skills. One staff member was just taking orders, another was handing them out, but there wasn’t much attention given to guests, especially considering that people here are ready to spend $100–$200 per check.
Overall, I still recommend this place. The cuisine is excellent and truly delicious.
Noel was kind and even gave some recommendations to me for things to do in Doral & Miami! He came by to make sure things were taken cared of and would look to see if we had enough water etc.
Moshi Moshi is FANTASTIC! You cannot go wrong with what you order. I LOVE the Nabeyaki Udon, it’s a must to try — the broth is unique and one of a kind in terms of flavor!
The steamed lobster and crispy rice, delicious! The Wagyu roll and ramen — please get this too! The Wagyu was perfect!! We also got the lychee salmon roll — my bf loved it in terms of the uniqueness of flavors, who knew lychee and salmon would pair well together?!
Moshi Moshi fried rice is also a great choice! We haven’t tried their drinks but they do have a good and simple ice green tea!
Like I said, whatever you get here, you truly will not be disappointed. Their new location is sooooo beautiful, such a nice atmosphere to have a wonderful meal in!
