Nirvana Indian Restaurant in 1010 Vienna never disappoints. Every single visit has been a wonderful experience, but this time truly exceeded my expectations. I tried Indian porridge for breakfast here for the first time, and I was absolutely blown away — it took my whole “porridge experience” to a completely new level!
The flavors were rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is warm, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and you genuinely feel welcome from the moment you walk in.
Hands down the best Indian dining experience in Vienna. I’ll definitely be a frequent customer and keep coming back. Highly recommended!

Great place, BUT make sure that you order NOT spicy option if you do not like spicy. NOT medium, because it is still very spicy! I struggled to eat without yogurt and mango juice medium spicy dishes.

A genuine fine Indian restaurant in the heart of Vienna. Delicious food, friendly respectful welcoming staff, confortable romantic ambiente, cotton towels for the table, fair prices. Going often, & every time even a better experience. We have a little dog and, when available, we receive even a larger table with space enough for accomodating our dog. We appreciate this extra attention very much!

I was lucky that my friend invited me to explore with him this hidden gem.. it was almost full so we knew its so good! I let my friend choose for us since he is indian, he order Laknawi kepap, Dal Tadka, rogen gosh, with rice & garlic naan, all was amazing and very balanced flavor not very strong in a disturbing way! It was the very first time in my life to enter an indian restaurant that is filled by non-indian customers almost 100%! Which means they did good job delivering a flavor that is moderate and suitable for all! Highly recommended!

This is definitely the best Indian restaurant in town. I have been dining here for many years and the food quality is always high and stable. The chicken and lamb are quite good and the spicy level is wonderful. You may choose to either ear indoor or sit outside in a courtyard with glass roof. The restaurant is located pretty much in the heart of Vienna and is easily accessible. If you need some authentic Indian taste, here is a must visit.

Dinner for two. Always glad to find a good Indian food restaurant when traveling. We each ordered the vegetarian thali. Everything was great. The naan and rice were perfect.
