I got take out Thursday night. The vegetable fried rice’s egg was all charred. It tasted gross. It’s unacceptable for a main component of the dish to be completely burned. I kept having to pick it out of my food. The onion and snow pea pods were also burnt. I wasn’t expecting the highest quality food, but this is unacceptable. I would have called to complain, but they were already closed.

We were passing thru Oberlin. We were hungry, and in a bit of a hurry, but we didn’t want fast food. We tried the Mandarin and were so happy we did. Our meals were delicious! The menu had a nice variety and everything wasfresh and tasty. The Pad Thai was very good, but not as “Thai” as I have had. The Chicken with Asparagus was a surprise and spot-on. We also had a tuna roll with a generous portion of tuna. (See pics)

Solid 3 star local Chinese restaurant, older decor and facilities but no major issues with cleanliness. The food was hot and pretty tasty, the staff were helping and pretty quick during the lunch rush. All meals are served in the 2 go trays.

if I could leave 0 stars I would. My family ate here and my dad got horrible food poisoning. it was so bad he couldn’t even say goodbye to our family member we were dropping off at school that day. I don’t know if it was just that day because I see there are positive reviews. But not sure if you’d like to risk it ♀️

This was one of my favorite places to eat out, last nights experience was horrible, the only thing I was able to eat was the teriyaki chicken sticks, every single other item was not even edible, spending almost $130, this will never happen again I promise you that.

The gong bao doufu came out the way I wanted. Not sweet! Crispy tofu. Cut small enough for chopsticks. Some spicy heat (I didn’t ask for it hot but you get the idea here). Now I want to try the other dishes!

Update on this review (this is after the owner’s fake replied comments below): After reading my review, the owner PAID several people to harass me on social media, want me to remove this review. Absolutely ridiculous. I will be reporting this to local court. Notice the owner has never issued a refund (not that I ever asked for one—I simply left my honest review here).
I placed my order in Chinese, as I am fluent in the language. And they have both English and Chinese versions of the menu (the English version has no Chinese, and the Chinese Version has no English). I specifically ordered “四川芥蓝” (Sichuan Gai Lan), which is a completely different vegetable from broccoli. While both belong to the Brassica oleracea (甘蓝) family, they have distinct appearances, flavors, and, most importantly, different names in Chinese. Every Chinese knows that 西兰花（broccoli) is different from 芥蓝 (gai lan).
However, I was given broccoli instead of Gai Lan. When I called to address the mistake, the owner blamed me, insisting that I had ordered incorrectly. She claimed that in the U.S., “芥蓝” Gai Lan) is called “西兰花” (Broccoli). Having lived in the U.S. for 11 years as a citizen, and frequently shopping at Asian stores, I have never heard anyone—Asian or otherwise—refer to these two vegetables interchangeably. They are simply not the same.
By the owner’s logic, just because Japanese, Korean, and Chinese people are all Asian, she could refer to all of them as “Chinese” regardless of their actual nationality or identity. That kind of reasoning is absurd and completely unacceptable. This is clearly a translation issue on their end, and instead of taking responsibility, the owner unfairly placed the blame on me. She had no right to do so, and her response had no logic.
Under Ohio’s Consumer Sales Practices Act (CSPA) (ORC § 1345.02) and general consumer protection laws, businesses cannot engage in deceptive or misleading practices when advertising or selling goods. The owner’s behavior has first, misrepresenting the nature or quality of a product, second, Providing false or confusing translations, third, Failing to deliver the product as described. It is the restaurant owner’s responsibility to correctly label and describe the items on their menu.
