I have been coming to Uncle Dom’s since the soft launch. The food is incredible. Portions are great, prices are incredibly reasonable. I love the bruschetta with a pinch of salt over the top to make all the flavors sing. Always get the bread with balsamic and seasonings. My favorite main dish is the Penne alla Vodka with pancetta. Perfect spice level and the salt of the pancetta makes the whole dish balanced.
Make sure if you are going you get a space at the bar and have Zach make you a delicious cocktail to go with it. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. If you’re on the floor grab Madi. Best smile in Seattle and also attentive.

While visiting Seattle I had a laundry list of foods my hometown sorely lacks. I stepped into Uncle Dom’s and found saltimbocca on the menu! Sitting at the bar after being greeted quickly, I struggled deciding on dinner. Taylor, the bartender, was awesome. We chatted industry, as I’m a retiree from restaurants, and he easily gave me recommendations. Note- everything is a la carte and I would not have known if I didn’t ask. I had the veal and added sautéed greens, accompanied by an amaro spritz. Absolutely delicious. I opted for the cheese plate before a sweet treat, because I had a little glad of house made limoncello. Lastly, the el Diablo desert with grappa and espresso. I enjoyed it so much I went back the next day to try the “cheap date” (bacon wrapped dates) with a glass of brusco and another el biablo with lambrusco. My only gripe is I’ll have to wait until I return to have a meal like this again.

Star of the Night: El Diablo — a decadent dessert you haven’t tried in Seattle and won’t forget.
Checked out this Italian bar after finding it on the SRW site. Expectations were low, but we were so pleasantly surprised. Two hosts greeted us immediately, and our server was personable, attentive, and warm. I waved down a lady for a fork, and she practically sprinted to grab it — ASAP delivery!
We scored the best seats by the window with a full view of the chef’s counter. Watching the flames and the street outside made the evening feel special. Service was perfectly paced, genuine, and unhurried. I joked about needing to “sit” after scraping my plates clean, and our server laughed with me. Little things like that truly make you feel seen. 10/10 service!
Let me preface the ratings: some dishes aren’t my personal favorites, but that’s about taste, not quality. For example the Toasted Garlic Bread, I prefer it soft and pillowy, but this crisp version and is exactly what the menu promises. Perfect if that’s your jam.
HIGHLIGHTS
Eggplant Parmesan (10/10) — vegetarian heaven. Crispy, layered perfection. Hot, perfect portion. I told myself to take it to go, but devoured it all.
Lasagna (9/10) — tart, flavorful sauce that’s clearly been simmering all day. Almost asked for a spoon to scrape the last bit.
El Diablo (10/10) — chocolate mousse over toasted meringue with nuts, tequila caramel, and just a hint of cayenne. I’d order one for myself and one “for the table.”

On Saturday as I was walking home from an event, it started POURING and I didn’t bring my raincoat. I passed up Donna’s down the road since they were packed – figured I could just grab a slice from hot mama’s. On my way, I walked passed Uncle Dom’s and saw a few folks dining (but what I really noticed were the lampshades hanging above the bar). I hadn’t seen or heard of the spot before, but I’m fairly new to the neighborhood, so figured it just slipped by. Come to find out they had only been open since Wednesday!
I got my food to go since I was simply drenched by the rain. Ordered the Eggplant Parmesan with a side of Aglio e Olio and a cava while I waited. The staff were lovely and the space is gorgeous. The food traveled alright – I don’t think they’re especially set up for take-out right now (maybe look into the metal to-go containers in the future if possible?) but I would have eaten there under dryer circumstances. Plus, they have spumoni, which I’ll need to order when I next dine in. The Eggplant Parmesan was especially flavorful and that red sauce was phenomenal.
I’m looking forward to eating here again! Next time, I’m fairly sure there will be a wait since the secret will be out.

The food was tasty — exactly what you hope for ordering a chicken parm, and the side of pasta aglio e olio was surprisingly delicious. They’re doing the classics justice here. But man, $30 for chicken parm with pasta is kind of brutal! And the eggplant parm only being $1 cheaper. We live on the block and it would be so nice for this to be a go-to rainy night spot, but garlic bread, two mains, one glass of wine, and one rainier coming out to $100 after the service charge + fees……to me there’s a slight mismatch between the no frills classic vibe of the food and the price

Cute place, great food! Service was lovely and warm. We missed having a spot with Italian food like this in the neighborhood! Very fair pricing, dinner for two (app, two mains, one N/A beverage) under $100 is hard to come by these days. Will definitely be back!

Visited last month with my partner. Absolutely loved the atmosphere. We had Madi as a waitress and she was so kind and fun adding to the experience of our evening. Everything was so so good. We had the penne a la vodka, chicken parm, chop salad, Italian martini and not pictured but the bruschetta. Taylor was great as well and we think that the prices were normal for Seattle so def worth it!

Uncle Dom’s (and bar tango) is one of my three favorite restaurants in Seattle. The food and drinks are delicious. The staff is great and we loved meeting the manager Leanne. I hope to eat here weekly
