Haven’t had Gino’s East pizza in a long time, but OMG it was exactly as we remembered it. The pizza was delicious. The service here was excellent. The place is huge. Very clean. We ordered the wings, they were good but they only served 6 for like $9. Other places serve more for that price. We also ordered the calamari, that was good too. The pizza, was deep dish and excellent. We will be going there again. We sat in a booth and we loved the high backs of the seats which made it more private.

We are lunch here on a Friday. It was mostly empty and we got a front seat to the huge gas fireplace. The atmosphere is amazing and the place is huge.
We both ordered thin lunch specials. Our waitress brought us deep dish. She clearly want paying attention to us.
The deep dish pizza is not very good. Soggy. Tomato paste was not very tasty.
The salad was great.
The soup was bland with mushy veggies.

Nothing beats Chicago deep dish pizza!! The appetizers: Fried Ravioli and Spinach artichoke dip were great while waiting for 45 min to get deliciousness. Worth the wait, but be prepared to be stuffed after 1 slice.

Really good pizza. Kids loved it. Awesome service. It wasn’t too busy when we went which was about 6pm on a Saturday. The place is huge but, I imagine they use the main dining area first before moving to other areas. There is a lot of nice outdoor seating. We decided to eat inside (it ended up raining while we were there like we suspected). So overall, great pizza, great service, really nice place.

I loved the pizza here. A friend of mine warned about how much cheese they put on it, and he was right. Not something I would do too often because of that, but I definitely enjoyed it. The interior was really funky looking, but fun. Good Chicago deep dish pizza to be sure. Thumbs up.

Ginos East is such an underrated deep dish pizza place. The location in Barrington is enormous. Probably too big, but in one of the dining rooms theres a small bar , fireplace, and feels super cozy. Service was very adequate. I’ve had the calamari and ceasar salad, both were excellent. The pizza itself is to die for. I love the sweet tomato sauce. Cheese isn’t too gooey and the crust is somewhere between Lou’s and Giordanos. Excellent dining option.

First time eating Gino’s East and it was good. We had a small deep dish and a order of mozz sticks. The sticks werent that great. I feel like the outside fried and cooked alot faster than the inside which made me think of just eating a cheese stick than melted cheese on the inside. My fiance thought they were ok, maybe they didnt melt the inside the right way. The pizza was delicious. Still perfer lou’s but i thought this crust was a tad bit better. Will go back again and try something else.

My hubby and I went to Gino’s East in Barrington for dinner on Saturday night for the first time. We were seated in a booth with a perfect view of the fire place. The service was great and deep dish pizza was delicious! We definitely recommend it for pizza!
