Lovely place, and atmosphere. The staff are so kind and attentive. Plus, great portion sizes and the best arrabbiata I’ve ever had and super reasonably priced. My sister loved the lasagne and said the price was incredible for how tasty it was. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat, for lunch or dinner!

Me and my partner booked on a Saturday and there was a mix up with times. But they was so lovely and made us feel welcome and Squeezed us in. We had starter and main, our food was cooked to perfection. Drinks flowed lovely and the layout and atmosphere was just amazing. Been a while since we can say home is usually better. Made us enjoy our night off. We will definitely be going back and more regularly.

I came cross this lovely Italian in Brighton on my stay here and ended up visiting it twice over two days. The owner is so incredibly kind and sweet and you can really tell he cares about his customers. All the ingredients are sourced from Italy which makes it a great authentic experience! I had the garlic bread and meatball pasta which was so fresh and tasty. There’s not a single thing I would fault about this place! 10/10 recommend!

This restaurant is quite simply head and shoulders above any. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are simply fantastic and ultra efficient. We had another great meal at Colosseo last night. Billy, the owner, really makes you feel welcome and is a superb host with good, friendly staff too. My favourite is the ‘Linguine allo scoglio’ (seafood pasta) but all the dishes I have tried have been very tasty and good portions. My partner loves their ‘pollo alla Milanese’ and the very special fillet steak cooked on your own hot stone at the table. We haven’t seen that done anywhere else near here and it really does mean you can have it cooked exactly as you like it. It serves great food and wine and the atmosphere is like being out with friends.

We started with garlic bread and calamari, both of which amazed us. For mains, we had a fluffy pizza and a penne with chili tomato sauce. The pizza dough was exceptional, and the sauce was wonderfully seasoned, though the penne could have been more al dente to be perfect! We finished off with a delicious tiramisu.
Not only was the food great, but the staff was also super friendly. It was evident that many regular customers enjoyed chatting with them!
We will definitely revisit this restaurant to try other dishes!!

Wowwwwwwww what can i say that hasnt been said in the reviews before mine.This is a nice little place in Boundary area of Portslade. Billy and his staff are very warm kind hearted folk as always they come out and say helllo the reception on arrival never disappoints the food is brilliant good sized portions that will full up the greediest of whats inside us all. Lovely melted cheesey garlic bread to start so Yummy 2 portions and a Lovely choice of food and deserts just add to its flavour and balance and cooked fresh what more could you ask for. And a lovely little happy birthday to a little girl that was celebrating her birthday which all sang happy birthday to her so to sum up a lovely meal in a fantastic little fine Restautant book your tables here and experience what Billy and his staff and brilliant service will bring you good food and staff that really care with what they are putting out 10/10

Delicious! The food was amazing, atmosphere was superb and absolutely top notch hospitality. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive (not sure of her name but she had blonde hair with a fringe). You can tell the owner really cares for his patrons as he was connecting with everyone throughout the meal. Charming restaurant and can’t wait to come again !
