Me and a friend had dinner here last night and I will absolutely be telling everyone I know to come here! We got eggplant fries to share and she got the Pesto Veggie pizza and I got the Alla Vodka Sandwich, both were delicious and super flavorful. Every thing was cooked perfectly. We even got the mini donuts and tiramisu to go for their Thursday special and they were great! Our waitress was so kind and attentive and was great at pointing out the best stuff on the menu. I will definitely be back to try more stuff soon!

Very friendly service. Pizza is excellent. Had an early lunch on a Saturday and it was not busy. My guess is that dinner is much busier.

What a gross experience! We ordered two pizzas, fries & cheese bread. The cheese bread was barely baked in. Looks like they went to the grocery store and bought bread and cheese. The pizza ( sausage, onion and peppers) was lack luster. Barely any toppings. The second pizza was just grease but not in a good way. The fries were so oily and had not even a lick of salt on them. We were all pretty hungry and no one finished their food which is sad for how much we paid ($50+). We were here for the first time and this left us with a bad taste in our mouth literally and figuratively.

I’ve been wanting to try this place since I was a kid. Literally driving home from picking up a large the works pizza as I type. My pizza is severely undercooked…like needs to go into the oven for a few minutes when I get home. Tried a slice on the drive…extra BLAH! No flavor! This can only be 4 star worthy experience to someone that thinks mayo is spicy. A frozen pizza would have been better option. One of the reviews said it was not worth the price and I should have listened. BTDT…and never have to again

Very Milwaukee. Cozy place. Good pizza. Crunchy crust, in a good way.
Ordered carry out and was early for pick up so I sat and had a Lakeside beer on tap…. Yum.
Sercie was friendly and efficient.

The best pizza near UWM. The Eggplant fries are worth coming back to try again!

We had a great time at Lisa’s! Hannah’s favorite on the menu is AMAZING and I think about it often. The vibes were also really cozy and made for a great evening catching up with friends. I can’t wait to go back!

I dined in alone at the bar on a weeknight here while in town for work. The food was absolutely incredible but what really puts this place a head above the rest is the unbelievable service. Samantha and Mackenzie both provided me with a level of hospitality on par with eating at a Michelin-star restaurant (or my grandma’s house) and gave me some very much needed non-work related social interaction. You can truly tell that everyone here believes in what they do — feeding the community and creating a cozy space to come together. Staff and patrons alike are treated like family. If I could give 7 stars I would

Great food, using fresh quality ingredients. Service with a smile, in a nice & cozy atmosphere. Bonus – Patio seating in the summertime.

Whenever a restaurant comes under new ownership, there is always a question of what will happen with the recipes that made it noteworthy. Lucky for us, the new owners (Hannah and Dean) kept what worked and added their own amazing additions, backed by their own developing culinary backgrounds and experiences. For example, along with the traditional sauce that made Lisa’s pizza so delicious, there is also Hannah’s own dessert recipes, an espresso martini made with Dean’s own cold brew coffee recipe and the garlic bread, also created by Dean.

While small changes have been made to the interior, with more slowly on the way, you will still find the dining room dimly lit and intimate. Although service was a little slow to start, our girl who seemed to be running the whole show did the best she could. Then Dean arrived, and he did an excellent job engaging and assisting us. He was kind enough to answer all our questions and make recommendations.

The large cheese, sausage, mushroom and onion pizza we shared was fantastic and made with a generous amount of toppings. The combo plate veggies had a crispy coating, which kept their texture tender but not soft. The cheesy garlic bread was to die for. One of, if not THE best, I’ve ever had. DO NOT go here without ordering some! Then there’s the Tiramisu. WOW. You could taste the coffee, although not overwhelmingly so, and the cream was fluffy and not overly sweet.

Lisa’s has been a Milwaukee staple, and it was wonderful to experience the classic flavors that brought us back, as well as new flavors that will keep us coming back for more!
