This place creates a line in the cold on purpose, me and my sister did the shot shuffle this weekend and went to every bar. The bar tender treated us like criminals even though we are both 21+ and treated our real IDs as fakes. He also made us wait in the cold for over an hour because of “capacity”. Saturday Edition – “When the Moon Hits Uptown”
WEREWOLF WOMAN OF MACEDONIA HOWLS FOR FREEDOM — COPS CALLED TO UPTOWN CHAOS!
Athens, OH — Shoppers at the Uptown square were treated to a supernatural surprise last night when a mysterious woman calling herself Alexandria of Macedonia claimed to be a werewolf “under divine lunar contract” — and proudly flashed what witnesses describe as a satanic tattoo on her shoulder.
“I thought it was a TikTok stunt,” said one witness, “but then she quoted Nietzsche, howled at the sky, and started blessing people with espresso foam.”
Local police responded after multiple calls about “a charming but alarming wolf-goddess situation.”
When questioned, Alexandria allegedly explained that her tattoo was “a sigil of liberation” and that the wolf inside her “just wanted a night out.”
Officers reportedly decided she was more poetic than problematic and let her go with a friendly warning about public howling ordinances.
By the end of the night, Alexandria had attracted a small following of students chanting “LET THE WOLF BE FREE!” near the courthouse steps.
One onlooker said, “It’s Athens. We’ve seen ghosts, goats, and now wolves. Fridays just keep getting better.”

The Crystal was a good bar to hang out in. They let you bring food in which is a big plus. We found a little loaf area where there was enough seating for a big group of people. There was Foosball and pool and some other games around. Crowded but not packed like the bar next door.

Clean establishment with an exquisite food menu. I love taking my family bible group here for friday night psalm readings. Everyone here is so nice and helpful. The place looks like it was recently remodeled. Should be a wedding venue. Least sticky floors ive ever stepped on.

Not recommended. Always super crowded with hammered underagers. Extremely dirty and sticky floor- not to mention the questionable ceiling. There is poor service and my group waited half an hour for drinks. The only positive thing is they have free popcorn here. Save your money and go somewhere else!

This bar will never get my service again. For starters, I waited for a drink for half an hour and once the bartender got to me I ordered ONE small $2 drink. I handed the bartender a 20 dollar bill and he gave me NO CHANGE!!! The bartender pocketed 18 dollars of mine and once I confronted him about it he had the audacity to say “That didn’t happen. Go somewhere else.” Finally, I asked to talk to the manager and he said “You’ll have to talk to the bartender about that, I can’t do anything.” This place and their employees are pathetic and clearly thieves! So don’t go to Crystal if you don’t want your money stolen.

Hi, i walked past here and there was a passed out girl. We tried to get management to help her. They refused and said it was not their problem. Litterally never go here. Everyone who works there is inhuman and should not be allowed to serve alcohol. Please avoid coming here if you care about your well being.

I love this bar! Clean establishment perfect for any occasion. The bartenders are super nice and friendly. They make the best drinks and they are super affordable. My favorite workers are Charlie and Chris:)

Extremely crammed with mostly under age kids. They serve watered down drinks (after you wait 20 minutes for them to get a bottle of Titos) and bartenders are extremely rude. Also they should fix the ceiling above the bar. Looks like there is mold growing on it.
