We tried the Fettuccine all Alfredo and Ravioli That’s Amore—both were masterclasses in pasta. The pasta and Ravioli were perfectly cooked and were a delight on our vegetarian taste buds.
Pro-Tips for fellow travelers:
• Reservations are mandatory: It’s a small space and fills up fast even on weekdays. We didn’t have a reservation since we decided on short notice but the staff were courteous and nice and accommodated us.
• Save room for the Tiramisu: It’s light, airy, and the perfect finish.
• The Atmosphere: The open kitchen and the smell of wood-fired pizza create an incredible energy.
A huge thank you to the staff for making us feel like family. This wasn’t just a meal; it was the highlight of our trip to Rome!
The pasta dishes were absolutely delicious — rich, perfectly cooked, and full of authentic Italian flavor.
The truffle pasta was outstanding, and the ragù pasta was deep, comforting, and incredibly satisfying.
Great quality ingredients, generous portions, and a cozy Roman atmosphere.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for real Italian food in Rome.
The Pinot Grigio wine is definitely delicious, the pasta was perfectly made, I would recommend to make it a bit less salty.
– Toilets were not that clean, specially for women, hygiene is very important.
Overall 14 euro for pasta and 7 euro for wine, is good amount!
Huge shoutout to Ricardo and Tanderni, who truly went above and beyond with their service.
I ordered a Margherita pizza and carbonara. The Margherita was especially memorable—not only was it delicious, but it was served in a heart shape, which was incredibly cute and added a fun, cheerful touch to the meal. The crust was nicely baked, and the balance of tomato, cheese, and basil was spot on.
The carbonara was also excellent, rich and creamy with a deep, savory flavor that felt authentic and satisfying. It paired perfectly with the lighter Margherita pizza.
Overall, That’s Amore is a great choice for a casual yet memorable Italian meal. With good food, friendly vibes, and playful presentation, it’s especially recommended for couples or anyone looking for a relaxed lunch spot in Rome.
The pizza is heart-shaped and very good. We also had lasagna, beef steak and saltimbocca. The portions are mid-sized, but sufficient.
We did arrive at 1100pm so the place was empty and sitting wasn’t an issue.
The food is Amazing as it sound be. I had the seafood spaghettinot was delight.
Watch out for the optional service charge.
