WARNING FOR GF PIZZAS: We received a gluten-free pepperoni pizza UNMARKED in an order with 5 pizzas, including a regular crust pepperoni pizza that looks identical. When I called to ask about the pizza being not labeled, the lady who answered said “it should be labeled but we are extra busy tonight.” This is an unacceptable that the pizza was unlabeled and an unacceptable reply from the restaurant. Be warned that you need to verify the crust is gluten-free. Do better Dave’s, from all the people who need to eat gluten-free for medical reasons. Thank you.

The pizza served here is definitely homemade and delicious and the cheese has a stretch so it’s real. It’s in a residential type neighborhood and the place is old school but not run down. There are many choices for crusts including deep dish and gluten free. The staff is quick, very friendly to customers and they make you feel they are glad you are their guest. It’s a popular place but not impossible to get a table if dining in. The bathrooms very clean. Just a great place to have pizza and recommend to anyone. We had Paul’s special and a Reuben pizza.

This place is a classic old school pizza restaurant. I absolutely loved my server, she was personable, funny and really made my party of 1 not feel so lonely. In addition to the inexpensive house wine which was pretty good, the pizza is a definite winner too. The crust is very unique, it’s very thin, but it had it’s own quality that is unlike any other pizza crust I’ve experienced (in a good way!) All in all, this was a great dinner!

Old school Minnesota pizza place is the best in the north country. Flavor packed from the sauce to the sausage and great quality cheese. Great ratio of ingredients consistently made. Great crispy thin crust with nice texture (I get it extra thin). Staff is always super friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for a pizza joint. The only thing the would make Dave’s better is Coke products

First time ordering and very unimpressed, $39 for a large pizza and 8 breadsticks delivered. Both pizza and breadsticks were way over done. $9 for over done Olive Garden style breadsticks was a bit much, was hoping for some homemade style breadsticks, yet not to be. Pizza well done and not the greatest either. Overall not a pizza place I would recommend.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere, great service, friendly staff, clean comfortable seating areas, clean restrooms, fantastic food, fair prices and wait time and most importantly gluten free 10″ or 14″ crust which is fantastic. We couldn’t notice the difference.

Called ahead for a pickup to take to the cabin for take and bake. Did not look at dining area but they do have indoor dining. They do not serve alcohol. From the impression I got from picking up this place slings alot of pies. We got the bacon cheese burger pizza and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

I travel from Bovey to eat at this fantastic lll secret pizza place!! I tried the meatball platter this time and my goodness they are exactly what you are hoping for.. and the pizza so gosh dang good. Like none other . The staff is dressed appropriately for the type of establishment and they are so friendly and helpful . Love this place!
