While working at a conference at the VA Convention Center, some colleagues requested I come here with them for lunch, they said they had been before and it was really good.
When we got there, at lunchtime on a weekday, they were packed, but there were a few seats open at a hightop, which we took. Service was great and attentive, as well as helpful as she offered great suggestions and explained how various dishes were made.

I tried a cup of their red bean and ham soup (it was the soup du jour) as well as their open face chicken salad sandwich and both were very good. They were both made fresh, in-house with fresh ingredients. Flavors were great too. I really liked the touch of having Dijon mustard on the chicken salad sandwich.

There were so many great things on the menu that I would definitely return and try more!

I have been to The Stockpot a couple of times now, and it’s always a delight. Go on a Monday to enjoy their Ramen Night! They have their standard options, but there’s a delicious special every now and then. I got the sunrise ramen which had tomatoes, basil, spinach, and amazing spices that created such a robust flavor profile. Also 10/10 on drink selections, vegan and gluten-free options, and service. The staff are all so kind and personable. Great vibes and a tasty meal!

A Birthday Highlight at The Stockpot

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday in Virginia Beach and spent quite a bit of time at The Stockpot, including having them create my birthday cake!

Months before arriving, I reached out about a custom cake for my “Glitter & Gold” themed party. The lead baker, Becca, was wonderful; over just a few emails, we designed a perfect treat. She accommodated my request for a vegan cake at no extra cost. The 12″ Snickerdoodle cake was covered in edible gold leaf and easily served 40–50 people. It was moist, flavorful, and a highlight of the party!

My other visits were just as memorable. A friend and I attended Ramen Night, which featured multiple ramen creations. The staff was knowledgeable and I chose the Spicy Ramen and a specialty basil vodka cocktail that were recommended, and both were fantastic! I also stopped in for breakfast with a few friends the day after my party. The portions were surprisingly filling for their size and, of course, delicious!

I highly recommend The Stockpot for their incredible “comfort cuisine.” I can’t wait to visit Va Beach again so that I can try even more.

Pleasantly surprised with how our visit turned out to be.

We got the table instantly but We waited 15-20 mins to be attended by the waitress, since they appeared to be short staffed on a busy Saturday afternoon.

However the food was delicious.
I would recommend their OG Fried Rice and Avocado Toast. Both of our dishes were perfectly made.

Definitely worth visiting again.

Great atmosphere, staff, and food. I went for breakfast and had the best breakfast skillet I ever had. Flavorful with fresh ingredients. The Avocado Toast was delicious as well. And don’t forget the flight of Mimosas! They were very refreshing. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone to at least give it a try and be amazed.

This place is outstanding for brunch. Been a couple times while in town and everything has been really delicious. We were in a hurry today and the staff were very accommodating and even mindful of our time. The avocado toast was perfectly smothered in a limey/lemony salty sweet dressing. The eggs Benedict had an awesome twist on the classic sauce with country ham and a perfectly poached egg.

My sister and I had breakfast on the last day of our trip to Virginia Beach 15th of August , arriving bright and early at 7 AM. The woman who welcomed us and served our food was incredibly sweet and kind. The freshness of the food was delightful, especially the biscuits, which were delicious with the side of jam. The scrambled eggs were so fresh, and both my sister and I loved our orders. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Delicious farm to table fresh food combined with a talent for complimentary flavor combinations. Lots of gluten free and vegan options (that were absolutely delicious). Super friendly staff with a love for the food they serve, and making guests feel welcome. We tried a lot of different places to eat in Virginia Beach and this was our top pick!

Don’t let the unassuming location of Stock Pot fool you—it’s a true hidden gem. Nestled in a quaint strip mall, this charming spot transforms the ordinary into an extraordinary dining experience.

Walking in, I was immediately struck by its cozy, café-like atmosphere. The space is bright and inviting, with a feminine yet bustling energy that feels both chic and welcoming. Despite being packed with patrons, we managed to snag seats at the bar without much trouble—a testament to the efficient flow of this delightful eatery.

I opted for the chicken noodle soup with the biscuit and salad combo, and I have to say, it was a revelation. This isn’t your average chicken soup; every ingredient felt fresh and flavorful, a perfect balance of comfort and creativity. The biscuit was tender and flaky, and the salad added a refreshing crispness to the meal.

The service was equally impressive—our server had an approachable, easygoing demeanor that made the experience even more enjoyable. Add to that the quick service and fantastic food, and Stock Pot has easily earned a spot on my list of favorite places to dine.

Whether you’re looking for a casual yet vibrant spot for a meal or just want to enjoy something truly tasty, Stock Pot is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return!
