It was pretty good, fast and friendly service. Larger portions. It’s only open for breakfast and lunch. This place gets pretty crowded so you might have to wait. It cost $76 for 4 people including coffee and drinks.

Food was good. I got the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs. Tye lady and kid had the country breakfast. CFS was on the small side. But, the food was good. Asked for the hashbrowns crispy, they were all about the same consistency. We were checked on every 5 minutes it seemed. Which was nice, but a little much. Overall experience was good.

We had omelette, eggs Benedict and sides(pancakes, hash brown, etc). Food is okay. The meat in eggs Benedict was okay. Hash brown were dry. Overall experience: okay. Visited the place to support local businesses

A very very fair restaurant. Prices were reasonable, but the steak was so stringy that I literally couldn’t chew it at all and just gave up.
It’s a cash only place which I didn’t know until it was time to pay, but don’t worry, they have an ATM on site that of course charges a fee to withdrawal $$$.
I wouldn’t avoid this place but It’s also not on my “must return” list either.

This place exceeded all of my expectations! The service was impeccable—our waiter was so friendly and made excellent recommendations. The food was heavenly! The French toast was the best I’ve ever had, and the freshly brewed coffee was the perfect complement. The ambiance was charming, with a laid-back yet elegant feel that made our experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a new favorite brunch spot, this is it!

Went in for coffee and donuts. I haven’t been ae to find a donut place in vallejo that i like. Scores didnt disappoint i got kona coffee a large although I thought 4.00 was kind of high i paid it anyways. I also got 2 twist donuts total was $8.00. Coffee was fresh and hot. The non dairy liquid creamer they had in the dispenser wasn’t so good. It gave my coffee a spoiled taste. Other than that no complaints. I’ll try it again and not used that creamer.

Specifically asked for a ham and cheese immerse with the eggs cooked soft cooked ‘soft’. I received just the opposite. The egg is harder than normal

My opinion over there is easy. Hospitality. The waitress is nice and the food is delicious. People go their regular for a reason.
But here’s a little FYI for you. There is a picture in the corner of the seat. It’s the memory of a retired Marine who was the usual customer there. He end up sacrificing his life for a waitress there. And they remember heroic ways.
I could truly say it’s a nice place to sit down, grab a donut and a coffee, get some breakfast and some food and meet some new people.

Wide varieties of good food for breakfast and lunch. They know how to poach eggs for bonus points. All prepared omelets. Unique salsas on the table. Plus donuts!
Tasty toasted RYE bread dry or buttered.

After dropping off the Wicked Stitchwhaler to the Halfflicker laboratory on Mare Island I picked up my pal Jjeenko Khan at his house on the top of Tennessee street and was going to go to the Buttercup for breakfast but Jjeenko wanted to go to Scotty’s Restaurant instead, he likes the sausage there better. I’ll have to agree, it was pretty damn good.
