This Chipotle in Gonzales, right across from the Tanger Outlets, is always a solid spot! The atmosphere is clean and well-maintained, and the food is consistently great—everything you’d expect from Chipotle. There’s plenty of parking, which makes it super convenient.

I ordered a Honey Chipotle Chicken Bowl w/ black beans, salsa, sour cream, and queso. They must not have drained the beans because when I received my order it was basically a bowl of soup. I brought my food back to the worker and she told me , “well that’s what you ordered”. No, I did not order a bowl of bean water.

The second time in this location. As I was ordering the young lady accidentally put carne assada in my bowl. When I asked for steak, I politely informed her, I asked for steak as she started to throw the bowl away to make a new one another young lady came over and said, what are you doing? Um, just remove the carnaasada. As she proceeded to grab a set of tongs and start to do so I politely informed her that that was cross-contamination. And if I had been allergic to anything with the carne assada just her removing it after it touching the other food in my bowl was not adequate which she proceeded to ask me if I was allergic, I explained that I was not, however, i was explaining to her that what she was doing was wrong. Do with that information which you will. But it is obvious that the people working within this establishment have not gone through service Safe courses eaters beware.

This location is the worst location i’ve been too. When my girlfriend and I went to get food, they were out of steak, chips, queso, vinaigrette, veggies. They still had 2 hours till close might i add. Then the whole place was filthy. At least 5 tables minimum were dirty, the floor was filthy and by the drinks was the worst. No spoons, napkins everywhere, the bottom grate of the drink dispenser was so full of ice it was spilling over. Then there was a random hair tie on the ground. AND they barely put anything on our burritos. I’ve never seen my burrito so small.. Definitely never coming back to this location. (p.s. never eaten a square burrito till I came here.)

The chips were stale and rubbery. I went to get another bag, and they were still stale. The employee wet the table tops yet left a puddle of water on the floor by the drink machine. The counter had trash and the sweet tea and unsweetened tea were switched… and my food was not pleasing. I used to tell everyone about Chipotle… now, I’m not sure why. Very disappointed…
Update: I wanted to put a better review yet, it was still not good. I use to tell everyone about Chipotle, but not anymore. I’ll be using my points and probably limit myself going…

Great food! We both got the burritos; I had black beans steak guacamole peppers beef and fresh tomato salsa with a Nantucket drink which tastes like baby food honestly . Other than that my meal was Soo good!

Food was great, I would say portion size was off but to my benefit on this visit. Restaurant was a complete disaster. Tables dirty, and trash on the ground everywhere. I actually went get wipes out of my car to clean a table so we could sit and eat. Staff was somewhat friendly.

Chipotle is a favorite. Really great for quantities. Very tasty. I had the carnitas and my wife had the chicken bowl. You can ask for a tortilla on the side when you order the bowl. We also got chips and salsa, but we don’t recommend it.

This is not the best Chipotle location in BR. Actually the worse location in Baton Rouge. The rice was undercooked. They were going to serve me brown and green Avocado.. it was very nasy. The food quality is not the best. The employees had attitude and were not friendly. They under portion their side.The got a veggie bowl and I got everything put on it and still my bowl was half empty. Very bad location.
Please go to another location or eat somewhere else.
