Finally, NY style bagels in a southern location. Best bagels I’ve had since moving 4 years ago from up north. Breakfast was ordered, I took a seat and quickly was served by sandwich. I had low expectations and was blown away by the taste and quality. You won’t be disappointed!

This is a local favorite. As someone who grew up in the area this is my favorite spot for bagels. Their muffins are a must too! There’s usually a line but it moves super fast. Sienna was very personable the last time I was there! All the staff are great!

Breakfast sandwich! You will sill be hungry. Store is very expensive as well. $8.50 for a Taylor hame and cheese bagel. 1&1/2 slices of meat and cheese. Bagels were much better than surrounding areas, but nothing like NJ.

Just picked up some bagels for our first day in Surfside Beach. My wife ordered a sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel and I got the northwest omelet on a jalapeno bagel and we both got them toasted. We both really enjoyed our food! Customer service was exceptional

Pricey for what you get. The bagel was decent, but the cream cheese was basically imaginary—more of a rumor than a spread. For a place called Big Apple Bagels, I expected a lot more commitment to cream cheese. It was $2 for this spec of cream cheese. I see others post $9 bagel sandwiches, but there’s scare remains of egg meat and cheese.

It’s your local Big Apple Bagels. Nothing special here because it’s a chain. If you like their bagels – this location is just fine. The staff here were nice. The place is kept pretty clean (sometimes tables can be dirty after people eat at these kind of places).
What about the food? I had an ham, egg, and cheese. They have a good ratio between all the ingredients and the sesame bagel was fine. I’ve been to fancier bagel places, but if you know Big Apple Bagels you know what to expect and you pay for that consistency. Given that – the chefs did a fine job assembling the sandwich. None of the major problems you see are here – the cheese properly melted and it wasn’t too greedy, etc. I saw other review with overly cooked eggs but I don’t have that problem with mine.
I gave it four because it’s still a solid choice but I don’t know how it compares to other bagel spots here at the beach; this is the first and only I’ve been to.

The asiago bagel sandwich was pretty darn good and the chocolate cheesecake muffin was amazing. Overall a little pricey for what it is, but if you want a good meal out this is a solid choice. I’ll be back when I’m in the area.

Real bagel place in Surfside Beach area. It’s a breakfast and lunch shop on Business 17 in a strip mall with a grocery store and Bealls & more. We are frequent customers because of the excellent bagels and the yummy variety of sandwiches. There are also muffins, salads, coffee, tea and fountain soda. Staffers are a pleasure to deal with and the regular people who go there are fun to chat with. Seating area inside and a couple of tables out front. Clean restrooms.

The bagel sandwiches here USED to be great! What happened? A pork roll bagel now has 2 slices of pork and barely an egg to cover the whole bread. $9.00!! I won’t be back
