Great valentines dinner last night. I’m celiac and they had A LOT of options. We started with the calamari app- they were able to make half of it gluten free (pan seared) and the other other half normal (breaded and fried) for my boyfriend. It was delicious. We shared some lobster bisque- gluten free and DELICIOUS! My only critique on it would be that a little more lobster meat would have elevated it, but the flavor was on point. I had the gluten free veal saltimbocca, boyfriend had the crab ravioli special and we finished off with butterscotch crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was delicious and Michele, our server, was very helpful and knowledgeable with great suggestions.

Random tid bit- It was quite warm in there, so I would not wear a thick sweater if you heat up easily like I do.

Service was great. Very attentive and personable. I ordered a rolled pasta dish with ricotta and spinach which was amazing! My husband got the Taste of Italy and was a bit less impressed. Lasagna is the key to his heart and he found it dry and very small portion. Affogato and cannot for dessert were spot on.

This is a lovely Italian restaurant. The dining room was decent with a great bar. Their entrees looked pretty. I ordered the taste of Italy serving with lasagna, eggplant Parmesan, and Alfredo angle hair. The food came out a little slowly but free rolls were served. Their soft rolls were wonderful with decent cream. The white sauce pasta was authentic and the red sauce was a little sour, but I could feel the abundant flavor of tomatoes. However, the eggplant was too raw and hard. I hope they would make it better. WiFi and Apple Pay were not available.

Cozy Elegance & Delicious Flavors ! We dined at this hidden gem, and it was an experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was very cozy, laid-back, yet elegant with soft lighting, warm decor, and just the right level of background chatter and music to make it feel lively but intimate. It was the perfect balance between upscale and relaxed, making it ideal for both date nights and casual gatherings. Our server was an absolute delight, thorough, attentive, and full of fun spirit. She took the time to explain the menu in detail, offered fantastic recommendations, and had such a warm, welcoming personality that by the end of the meal, we felt like old friends. Her energy truly elevated the whole experience! Now, the food, wow. We tried a few dishes, and each one was unique and packed with flavor. From the tasty scallops to the inventive crispy vegetable with unexpected but delicious ingredients, every bite was a treat. There were a couple of standout dishes that we’re already craving again. Between the inviting ambiance, stellar service, and mouthwatering food, this place has officially earned a spot in our regular rotation. We’ll definitely be back and soon! Highly recommend.

This has been my favorite Italian restaurant in Columbus for over 20 years. The owner Shawn is one of kindest people. The chef Matt is also a gem and makes the best food. The tirimusu is amazing. You feel the real family Italian atmosphere while you’re here and I can’t recommend it enough. P..S ask for Shawn’s famous blueberry martini, you won’t regret it!

Everything we’ve tried here has been phenomenal. From the food to the service to the drinks, all top notch. Sean is an excellent server and bartender—he’s intuitive and knows what you want before you know it. I always look forward to my next bites from the Trat!

I cannot say enough good, no great things about this restaurant. My husband and I are foodies who dine out often and especially love fine dinning and supporting local businesses so we had to try here and we weren’t disappointed and you won’t be either. Since our first visit we’ve been back for cocktails with friends, mother’s day brunch, date night and dinner with other couples. The owners are so nice and you can tell truly care about their restaurant and their guests experience. Most importantly the food is authentic and fantastic!! Try it, you will be happy you did!

Excellent. Our server was Nick, he was incredibly kind, helpful, and pleasant throughout the evening. For drinks we had the featured Pinot Grigio and the seasonal Strawberry Mule, both were absolutely excellent. For appetizers we had the stuffed meatball and antipasto platter. The stuffed meatball was fantastic. Perfectly cooked, perfect amount of cheese. The antipasto platter was tasty, however we felt that it was an odd presentation and was not what we expected. It was not bad, just not something we will order during our next visit. For main courses we enjoyed Chicken Parmigiana and Tortellini Pizzaiola. 10/10 for both. The chicken parm was cooked to perfection, outstanding pasta and sauce. The tortellini was an excellent amount of spicy and savory and all the flavors complimented themselves well. Thank you Nick for an excellent evening at Trattoria. We will be back!

We were passing through town and found this place doing a Google search. We ordered online 45 min before we’d get there. We ordered bolognese and a large Caesar salad(without meat). The salad was on the small side for $14 and was just blah. The bolognese was very disappointing. The meat sauce was boring/tasteless and there were fat/gristle knobs in it. Not all of the meat was finely ground up; there were chunks of meat.
We indicated that we wanted curbside delivery and got an email saying v to click on “we are here” when we arrived. We could see into the restaurant and there was only one person at the bar and one table of people. We waited several minutes and then I went in to get it. They had no idea that we arrived. This isn’t a big deal. The food was subpar and that’s a big deal.
