Brought my man here for Father’s Day this past Sunday and our food & service was excellent. Our food came to us hot and fresh. I ordered cream dried beef over wheat toast with 2 scrambled eggs on top and hashbrowns and it was the best I’ve ever had. My hubby said his French toast and mozzarella sticks were good. We will definitely be returning

Food is always solid here, but be prepared for a lot of front of house issues.
I’ve dined in and gotten takeout for brunch, lunch, and dinner – issues are pretty spread across the visits and not concentrated to a specific scenario.
1. Always short staffed. Expect to ask for things 2, 3 ,4 times. I’ve had a lot of new employees help me, and unfortunately (naturally) new employees make mistakes. I just happen to have this experience pretty much every visit.
2. No price transparency. Prices are different at every visit. Dine-in and online menus are never updated, not talking 50 cents but $2-3 on any given item. Also always check to make sure you’re charged correctly as there is a fee for credit cards… I was charged higher amounts a couple of times even though I said I was paying in cash and literally had cash in my hand at the register.
3. Prepare to share condiment bottles with other tables if dining in. This is probably due to short staffing and not having enough people or time to refill and prep things.
Again, food is always solid here. 100% nostalgic and the food I grew up with in the 90s. The owners and family are really sweet and awesome at their jobs – I have excellent experiences with them. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be coming back any time soon until they straighten out their front house.

For stop and go? Fantastic Breakfast. Waffle, eggs O easy, sausage, shredded fries w onion, toast, 2 cups Joe, lrg. Diet Coke! BAM! Top 2 for me in Pottstown. Happy Days atmosphere too. Really! Great food. Also great spaghetti and meat balls! Friendly too!
Lunch: April 18, ’25. A total A! See photo. Chicken salad on whole wheat toasted with tomatoes. Fresh fries. Choc. Shake. Diet Coke. Would have ordered it again if I had room. Fantastic. Best chicken salad I’ve had in a year or more. They are the real deal. Quiet 1:00 lunch. Fantastic food. Great company. Solid A.
Cost? 23.00. And I’d pay it anyday for what I got.

Cute little diner! They have fantastic Stromboli, cheesesteak sandwiches, onion rings, and French fries! All were top notch! Everyone who worked there were so friendly and nice, our server was fantastic! Party of six, everyone stated they will be coming back again!

I’d say it was a typical diner experience. It was basically greasy-spoon type of food. The food tasted very decent. Service was rendered by a very pleasant lady. Fairly extensive menu. Burgers and cheesesteaks are their recommended dishes. Indeed, I enjoyed the cheesesteak very much.

Heatwave this week. Make me hungry. Me hungry. Arriving early to Pottstown for an Appraisal Inspection, the old familiar Hilltop Hamburgers sign evoked a u-turn and stop and pop for breakfast. 8:51 am. Pull in to first parking spot. A hand full of cars parked. A young gentleman walked out with a grocery bag of food take out. Hopped in his jeep and peeled out of the lot. Walking in the decor and cosmetics is authentically mid century. The manner in which it is cleaned and stocked also appears authentically mid century. There are two types of people who will eat here. Those who will and those who won’t. Sure as the day is long, I will. Given the economy, like many places staffing appeared to be at a minimum. ordered a cup of coffee, which was good. There were roosters on the coffee cup. The half-and-half was Rosenbergers and served up in a cardboard hot dog tray. Small American flags lined the food counter and old time advertisements and wall hangings hung on the wall, including an old Coca-Cola clock. The staff was friendly enough, but definitely did not want to get on her bad side. I’m overhearing the conversations, it sounded like she was looking to get fired that day. Unemployment time. Breakfast burrito. Chorizo sausage. Fried eggs. Cheese. Pico de gallo. Was Okay. Filling and reasonably priced. Nevertheless, filled my belly and headed on down the road. Until next time, Sanatoga.

The staff is always friendly, they call me by my name every time I come in to pick up my food. The food is great and it is just an all around great experience every time. Highly recommended..

Have been there many times for lunch and dinner but today was the first time for breakfast. Party of 6 and we had omelets, eggs, crab Benedict and all of the sides were delicious. Service was prompt but we were able to sit and enjoy everything.

A nice place to stop by for lunch or dinner. Has that old fashioned comfortable feel of an earlier more simple time. There is even a pinball machine! Friendly and efficient wait staff. My cheeseburger was very good.
