Excellent grilled salmon salad. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Soup was great, dessert was very good too. Our waitress was really on top of everything, she got a workout as the restaurant was full, but kept an eye on every table and was very friendly.

This is hands down the best restaurant in the Folsom area! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and the friendliness of every server—they truly made us feel like family.
We started with the crab cakes, which were an absolute 10/10—the best I’ve ever had! The zucchini strips were also fantastic, another 10/10. We also had the chicken lettuce wraps, which were a perfect 10/10!
My husband ordered the Asian chicken salad and absolutely loved it, while I had the Manderes risotto with grilled chicken breast. The risotto was delicious, though the chicken was slightly on the dry side—but not too bad. My daughter enjoyed her linguine pasta as well.
Overall, this place is amazing and definitely a must-try!

Small Establishment, but the food and service were awesome. The could definitely get a bigger restaurant space and still fill the room. The full dining experience was great, from drinks to appetizers to the main food. It was a nice dinner.

This was our first time dining at Manderes. We were celebrating a birthday. I searched reviews to find a top rated restaurant that served a rib eye. The reviews for Manderes were very good. The service was wonderful, definitely 4 or five stars. We did not however have delicious food. We started with drinks and fried zucchini. The zucchini was overcooked. Next we ordered our entrees, rib eye, hamburger, squash ravioli, and prosciutto pasta. We never send food back but the rib eye was so overcooked all you could taste is the burnt outside. The hamburger was bland, we left most of it on the plate. The squash and prosciutto pastas were the same, under seasoned. The table we sat at was small. We were within arms reach to everyone around us. Our chairs were up against the chairs of the table behind us. Very cramped. To top off the unpalatable food there was a woman who had her unleashed, pet dog, at the bar which was maybe 5 ft from our table. She walked around the entire restaurant, bathroom and bar holding the pet in her arms before settling at the bar. There was no indication that it was a service dog. Just a medium sized white dog sitting at the bar. I might be mistaken but I thought that was a code violation. Complete disappointment. I don’t know how they received such great reviews. We will not be returning.

Food: my ribeye although cooked perfectly was a very poor cut of meat. Not good at all! The mashed potatoes were delicious. Service: was fine. Atmosphere: It is a small busy active place. We ended up at table up against the window that had a very cold draft. All in all for the money I wish we had gone someplace else.

The food was outstanding. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Alfredo but that was more to personal taste then quality. I tried some of my companions ravioli and it was phenomenal. The steak that came with my Alfredo was also spectacular. Even though I didn’t personally love my dish I want to come back and try other dishes.

Great food! Amazing wait staff, very welcoming and friendly. Pub atmosphere, casual, intimate. The mountain of ribs cooked to perfection, came with sides that held their own. The fries are delicious and the slaw was fresh and super tasty. I will be going back!
