This place is a bit expensive for ice cream, but if that’s because the ingredients are premium then I am ok with it. I LOVED that this ice cream was only moderately sweet, rather than pumped with overloads of sugar/corn syrup. Made it feel more like ice cream should. I didn’t feel awful after eating some! The kids running the register were clearly not very experienced but were not rude. I did order two scoops and they only gave me 1.. but maybe that was the universe telling me I didn’t need more than 1 lol. I didn’t get a receipt so not sure whether they charged me for 1 or 2.
Also the strawberry ice cream we ordered wasn’t bright red, rather a faint pink, which is GOOD NEWS as it seems to indicate they don’t use synthetic dyes like red40. Yay!
We will be back.

I’ve been a MELT fan for years! I was so excited with the new location. My review is mixed because I have had different experiences. The first time I went the staff was friendly, let me try samples, and even gave me some of their favorite options. I got a couple of pints for our department and everyone enjoyed it.
This last time I had seen the chocolate week and was excited to try the blackout cake! We got there and it felt like we were and inconvenience. I asked for the blackout sample just to make sure that was the flavor I wanted and the same was so much smaller than the tiny spoon it comes on, not to mention much smaller than samples I’ve had in the past at MELT. However, I decided to pick that flavor and ordered a single scoop in a cone. I received my ice cream and it just was seemed like such a small amount especially for the price.
Maybe it was an off night, and I’d like to try again because I’ve only ever had positive experiences at the other locations.

Someone else said in a different review that it was depressing enough in the store to make them not even order what they wanted because they just wanted to leave. I have to agree completely with this sentiment. It was almost like the two girls working just wanted me to leave and not order, they barely spoke, didn’t explain a single thing and just pointed to the sign when I had questions. I ended up getting a shake that one girl didn’t even blend enough to be able to drink that had subpar flavor. Overpriced for the size, flavor and service. At least have it as a large size if I’m paying almost $10 for it!

Quiet and relaxed place to get ice cream. Had the rocky road and dark chocolate scoops and both were excellent. They also have gluten free/dairy free options that aren’t just sorbet (but they have multiple flavors of that if you like it)!

Prices are too high if you bring your kids. To get my kids each one scoop it costs almost $20, but if I buy a bowl with three scoops it’s $8. Makes no sense. They should allow the three scoop price and maybe charge extra for another cup or something. Also the sample sizes changed. I wanted a sample of a new flavor and it was a drop of ice cream on the tiny spoons. They must’ve changed policy recently, because a sample flavor used to be a small bite size where you can actually taste it. Doubt I will be coming back to waste money on that. The tiny sample serving wasn’t enough the final straw

Pumpkin Praline is perfectly seasonal Texas. Well done, Melt. This is the third Melt location we have been too and didn’t disappoint. Service was smiling, polite and excellent as usual.

LOVE their ice cream! They have such fun seasonal flavors! I love that their flavors rotate seasonally, but they still keep some flavors all year long. You can get ice cream bars, pints to go, cones, cups, sundaes or shakes – something for everyone! We love taking our kids here for a special treat!

Melt in Willow Park is the best! Their staff is so friendly and their ice cream is top tier! We bring groups pretty regularly and they are always delighted to scoop us up some smiles. We’ve also used them for catering a big event. The process was smooth and they took care of everything.
