Had a fantastic time for the Key West Days- the place was packed. The portions were great, and when we picked up the tab for our group, we were shocked at how affordable it was. It was nice to see a menu with some diversity in choices. We expected the bill to be $50-$100 more than it was.

Been going up to Hampton for almost 30 years, and I never had a bad experience, until yesterday when my family and I decided to go to McGuirk’s Ocean View Restaurant.
We’ve got there around 11:40am and apparently we had just missed breakfast. Ok, no big deal, we will just order lunch… WRONG. The staff told us that we can’t order anything until noon, when the next shift arrives. We were not even allowed to order drinks while waiting! In fact nobody gave us silverware or menus. Finally the new shift arrived at 12:10pm and acknowledged us as human beings. The food was great but astronomically high and the service was got awful. Safe to say I never go back.

We sat inside the restaurant, atmosphere was okay, service was slow, food was terrible. Ordered baked haddock which wasn’t cooked all the way through, baked stuffed haddock that had ice cold lobster in the middle, and haddock piccata that was cold.
