Don’t be misled by the location of this hidden gem away from downtown Savannah, it was well worth the 20 min drive from the RiverWalk. It’s small but the quality of the food was top notch. Fall off the bone meat, sausage snapping perfectly, and the sides were all amazing. Seasonings and sauces were great!

From both food quality to the staff, Sandfly is a broken shell of what it once was. Idk where to begin with this nightmare. Not only was my food delivered in an unsealed, opened bag, but it also came extremely cold. I barely received what I ordered
There was definitely noooooot a 1/2 LB of pork in my container at all with the $16.99 pork plate with 2 sides. The sides were lumpy, hard, and cold at that. The potato salad had no flavor; it tasted like plain vinegar. Texas toast was burnt. It was inedible
I immediately contacted the restaurant, believing they’ll act in decency. Nothing of the sort happened. I spoke to two employees, one of whom was the upfront manager named Jeanie. She was one of the nastiest, rudest people I’ve ever met, nor did she care to help resolve this extremely upsetting matter one bit
In fact, Jeanie and the other employee both had a no-care attitude towards a severely heartbroken grieving widow crying on the phone and explaining my current painful situation and wanting to have a meal from a place I made memories at with my husband
I communicated clearly to Jeanie the details of my unsatisfactory experience. She chose to berate me, talk down to me like a child, literally say she didn’t care about what I was saying, and yell at me. Her voice was so loud that other people overheard her and came to see if I was ok
Jeanie eventually claimed that she was going to do a one-time refund, which she made abundantly clear that she would NEVER do again. She then gave me the runaround and told me she was unable to refund because it was a takeout order… that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever
There’s a way you talk to people. You don’t talk to people any way you want. Especially as a manager. If you can’t treat people, paying customers no less, with dignity, then you have no business serving as a manager in any capacity
Their disgusting behavior matches their constantly falling health score. I would never trust Sandfly again and will make sure everyone knows about their poor service and their treatment of customers

We’ve been wanting to try Sandfly for quite some time, and it did not disappoint! I had the pulled pork platter with mac & cheese, shoestring fries, and Texas toast. The portions were generous and the BBQ sauces upgraded the meal to OUTSTANDING. My wife tried the house salad. Again the portion size was huge and had a killer BBQ ranch dressing. Highly recommended.

Absolutely the best brisket I have had in a very long time. I can’t say enough good things about the brisket. It was moist and juicy and was seasoned perfectly.
I had the brisket and quarter chicken dark meat along with collard greens and green beans. My wife had the half chicken with mac & cheese and baked beans. The chicken was amazing as were our side dishes.
If we lived in Savannah, this would be our definite go to barbecue place

Visited this restaurant during a trip to Savannah. Had brisket, mac-n-cheese, and collard greens in addition to chicken wings. Everything was delicious. We heard the ribs are great too, but unfortunately, they were all out by the time we made it there for dinner. Will keep you on the list for the next time we are in the area.

The food was amazing! I’d like to highlight the pork ribs and sausage. I really enjoyed all the sides. The collards, potato salad, beans and coleslaw were all fantastic. The potato salad was like deviled eggs and potato’s combined. Very unique for me and delicious. The collards were savory and slightly spicy with some acid. Perfect in my opinion. Definitely worth the visit! We got the combo platter.

Food absolutely amazing! They take your order at the front and deliver your food but after that you are on your own. The lady was confused when delivering the food so I rated the service three stars as I hated watching my food being spoke over and presented to the wrong tables even when my husband and I raised our hands and called out to her. She was sweet though. The environment was not very clean with the trash on the floor, but I quickly forgot this when I tasted my food. Highly recommend the brisket, chicken, and ribs!! The Mac and cheese was fire along with the baked beans. We stumbled across the place and couldn’t be more satisfied.

First time here so I asked a some folks that were there how was the food? All of them talked about how great it is. I tried the brisket macncheese and greens, she had pulled pork cole slaw and okra. It was all delicious! If we lived in Savannah I know we would be here at least a couple times a week . We will be back on our trip next year and I would recommend
