Salad shakers come in a venti Starbucks sized cup and pizza was not good and overpriced. Sloppy, oily, gross. Not to mention I added addtl. toppings at $4 a pop each. I thought I was ordering from the BK location but didn’t realize this is a co-kitchen with Jax&Co.’s whose pizza I also don’t care for and also always arrives cold.
Why buy a medium pizza if it smaller than the medium sized box. I also didn’t receive the red pepper flakes and oregano I paid for.
Waste of money.

I recently visited this pizza shop and overall had a good experience. The pizza was fresh, hot, and full of flavor, with a well-baked crust and generous toppings. The staff was polite and the service was fairly quick even during busy hours. The seating area was clean, though it could use a bit more attention during peak times. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. With a little improvement in ambiance and consistency, this place can easily become a favorite spot for pizza lovers so much tasty Check you

Another recommendation from the instagram algorithm led me here. I was today years old hearing of Detroit styled pizza for the first time. I’ve only known of two styles, the NYC thin slice and the Chicago deep dish. Ace’s Detroit Pizza is like a lighter version of the deep dish but what I had was anything but light.
Starting off, the place is in a food court so Ace’s is really a vendor stall. The menu is limited in options but what they offer in pizza and breadsticks they have several variations of it. I opted for the Meat lovers personal pizza and garlic cheese breadsticks. Once again I got in over my head and what I ordered was too much for me to handle on the first go but it was delicious. The meat lovers personal pie was loaded with pepperoni, sausage and bacon & the garlic cheese breadsticks were as advertised with Marinara sauce.
One small drawback is that the place is cashless, meaning you can only use cards. A bit of a bummer because I had mostly cash on me so that’s something to take note of. Other than that the food is good and the nice aestethic they have going on up front is a small CRT TV with a Nintendo 64 hooked up to it with a modest stack of games. It was a fun time killer while waiting for lunch.

Pizza is fire! Take it from a local. As much as I love my Ny slices, I’m also a big diehard when it comes to Detroit style slices. this slice definite punches above its weight! We ordered the meat lovers and pepperoni and both had this rich tomato sauce alongside the crispy burnt cheese crust to give it that beautiful crunch

Great Detroit style pizza. The sauce, crust and toppings were delicious.
It’s located inside Jacx & Co food hall and the atmosphere is inviting. The counter guy was super sweet. All around good experience

Yup. It slaps. The spicy boi was better than the pepper trio w sausage but they were both def worth going back. I tried the one in bk once but this one’s closer. Hope I don’t end up there too often haha. Thanks aces. You picked the right spot for another location.

Super psyched to have Detroit Style pizza back in Queens. Crunchy savory pan baked pizza. Menu pizzas is for personal sized order (2 slices). They can be ordered large (8 slices).

Bad and overpriced. When I ordered the person at the register asked me what size I wanted and and referred to the 3 different size boxes. I assumed the size of the box would be close to the size of the pizza… but the pizza was significantly smaller than the box, so I was deceived. I got the Hawaiian pizza, I was surprised that it didn’t have pizza sauce. It didn’t say it had sauce on the menu but none of the pizzas said they had sauce on the menu… so I just assumed it would. Then I ordered a cup of sauce for $2. I should have have asked how big the sauce cup was because it was tiny and not worth $2. I ended up spending $32 for a medium pizza, a can of coke and a tiny cup of sauce. On top of all that the pizza wasn’t even good.

We got the spicy boi pizza and it was amazing. The flavor was amazing, the edges were perfectly crispy. It was definitely overpriced but was delicious.
