Reviews
As you enter the restaurant, it has some memorabilia from the past (it started out fairly small), and has a very interesting touch.
The person who attended to our table, Alyssa, was very good – a smile on her face at all times, friendly and prompt service, and very professional.
Getting in and out of the compound was a doozy because it is located right on a very busy thoroughfare and there are no traffic lights to allow your turn.
The place was very chilly and many were complaining. That, plus the cold plates turned most dishes to lukewarm or cold.
We will return to try again, but not until springtime
The food variety was just amazing. There’s no way you could try everything, but everything I had was good although kind of bland. They claim authentic Amish food, but I literally watched a guy pull the same Jennio Turkey out of a bag that I do at home. Sysco again.
The atmosphere was cozy, Country, and famously Amish. Country wooden tables and chairs, fireplaces, and a well lit, but low light environment. Really great place.
The only reason I didn’t give four stars was because of the rudeness/indifference of the host and the price. $60 per person is pretty high. They basically doubled the price just because it’s a holiday. I would come here again, just not on a holiday so I can pay $32 instead of $60 for the same experience.
While the selection may be slightly limited, the quality makes up for it. They also offer just the right number of selection for my personal liking.
The service was great, we got seated right away and our waitress was awesome! She was attentive and prompt throughout our entire meal.
Millers is a great spot for families and individuals. They do accept reservations which I think is unique !
Food wise, you really can’t go wrong! My favorite pair was the fried chicken, roast beef and broccoli salad!!! The chicken was fried perfectly, not dry and flavorful! The roast beef was also very tender !! Paired beautifully with the horseradish, not too strong. The broccoli salad was creamy and minced fine!! Overall all the other dishes were good. I will say, be warned about their salted caramel cheesecake. It was SUPER salty.. almost unbearable to eat…
Service was just as impressive as the food. Our plates were cleared promptly and drinks were always refreshed without having to ask. Compared to other local Amish buffets like Shady Maple, Miller’s felt calmer, more organized, and overall a better dining experience.
Of the over 3 dozen items to choose from on the buffet line, we had our favorites. The fried chicken was crunchy and seasoned just right, the roast beef was tender and carved to order, and we loved the tangy broccoli slaw. Don’t skip the desserts either, ie. homemade pies, cakes and cookies.
At $30 per adult, it’s a bit pricier than some buffets in the area, but for the quality and service, it’s 100% worth it, especially if you’ve got a solid appetite. 100% will be back
There was a short wait.
Lots of great things to eat.
