We visited Hacienda El Asadero for dinner on recommendation – we were absolutely delighted. The interior is cozy, there is an open veranda, the service is attentive and polite. We ordered several steaks and appetizers: the meat was exactly with the level of frying we asked for, side dishes were fresh, sauces were tasty. Excellent choice of wines and cocktails. We liked the price-quality ratio. We will definitely come back and recommend to friends.

This restaurant is a definite No Go! The restaurant was hot to start with, probably 80 degrees in there. The waitress was unfriendly at first. But neither of those things would make me leave a bad review. The food however was gross and probably frozen to start with. After less than 10 minutes wait our for was at our table. Which was surprising since we ordered 2 large entrees. My food was cool to the touch in the middle. There is, no way it was made fresh. The waitress did not offer to make it right. However, I was not charged for my meal, but it was a waist of time and money going there. The place was not what I would call clean by any means. We will definitely not be going back and we’ll tell others to avoid this place also.

It was very nice, the waiter was fantastic. There was a group of 10 of us ladies. We received the food very quickly and everyone was pleased with their meal.

Got the chicken, shrimp & scallops fajita. Extremely dry! No seasoning & very bland!!! They possible used precooked shrimp. The rice was very good the beans were the worst I ever had!

Normally they get a five-star but that night the steak was kind of tough and the wraps were kind of hardened but other than that I would go there anytime they rock that environment is stunningly gorgeous killer interesting super cool

Hacienda is our favorite Mexican restaurant to go to in Washington, and there are many to choose from. The service is always fantastic–quick, friendly, and efficient. The food is also very good. We love flavor in our food, and Hacienda doesn’t disappoint. There is never a long wait for our food either. It is a “good bang for your buck” place to go, and these days that is super important.

I had the california with shrimp and it was fantastic, i couldn’t finish it it was so big. The servicer was polite and gave me privacy to eat my meal. Was very attentive and on the ball, when i called him over was he was direct, to the point and punctual. It is a very clean establishment with authentic cuisine, with employees who spoke spanish and english. The shrimp was cleaned, cooked well and not over done, which is rare. The meat and chicken was fantastic, in abundance that left me full not even halfway done. The prices are more then fair for the quality and quantity provided. The the onions where fresh and crisp yet malleable, a sign of a very good chef. Would eat here again if ever back in this state. Try the hot sauce is on the side, the one with the white label is very hard to find and very tasty.
