Back in town visiting friends and we decided to stop for a quick bite. Decided to try the buffalo mac and cheese. It was very good with just enough kick. The chicken breast, while very thin, had a nice crunchy crust and flavor giving it a nice contrast with the soft noodles. The waiter was pleasant and took care of us efficiently. Overall, a good experience that we enjoyed.

I’m really sad to say this, but Tanner’s quality has fallen off a cliff. I came here for years for the chicken lips, but the portion sizes are embarrassing now. For 10 bucks, I got THREE tiny little sauced lips. That was literally it, no side or anything. It was maybe 4 ounces of food.
It’s a shame too because everything else was great. Our server was extremely nice, the beer was priced well, and our appetizer was good. But the portion sizes are absolutely embarrassing.

Stopped in on a Saturday evening around 7pm. It was crowded but we were able to grab the one table open. Nice selection of draft beer and drinks. We had the white queso and onion rings with a few drinks. The food was good and the service was excellent.

It is a sit yourself place. The food was good. The service was pretty slow. We were there for about 2 hours from when we sat down to when we left. They have plenty of TVs to watch any sports game. For 3 meals and 1 drink our bill came to $74, so about $25 a person.

Pretty good food & atmosphere. We ordered the Mac & Cheese bites, blue cheese burger, & habanero burger. Very delicious & fast service despite a full house. Only downside was the sticky table & musty smell. Smell was 100% from the towel/water they used to wipe the table down before we sat. Didn’t ruin the experience but they def need to change their cleaning rags ha!

Ok…. I don’t usually give out 5 Stars,. BUT…
The Blue Cheese Burger was one of the top three specialty burgers I have ever ate.
The burger to bun ratio was perfect and the blue cheese topping was devine…. Add the fact that the meat was cooked to perfection and you have a great meal.
Tried to be a little more healthier with the sides and turned out the fresh vegetables were great.
My wife got their version of sliders and she enjoyed them as well as Our Son got the Chicken fingers and they were great.
Atmosphere on a Saturday was good timing, not to crowded and the place was well decorated.
Our waitress was awesome as well. Never had to ask for refills on sodas and had a great attitude.
Wish we had a Tanner’s in NC….. would put local name brand restaurants out of business.
Only regret there isn’t one closer to home.
