This place is a hole in the wall, but as far as those things, it’s pretty stinking good. We were referred there by a friend and Conway Cafe did not disappoint. Their selection of breakfast was adequate and their food was pretty great. I tried the Cali omelet and I can say I enjoyed it, though perhaps the pepper jack cheese should be switched to something a little more mild. I thought it overtook the omelet. Besides that, the scene and location of the restaurant are both ideal and the owner is exceptionally friendly, engaging and present. He met us, shook our hands warmly, and came to our table several times. The entire staff was friendly and made it a point to greet customers as they walked in and wave them goodbye when they left. All in all, I’m satisfied with Conway Cafe and will go back if I’m in the area.

Proof of why I don’t judge a book by its cover…Got there when it opened on a Saturday, was welcomed with friendly staff. Waitress came to our table in a timely manner, shared the specials and willingly made substitutions to our orders. Food was finger-licking good and worth the price. Will def return when I’m the area again. Love me some local establishments!

Well, the pancakes are light, fluffy, and delicious. They were “a little slice of heaven on my plate” according to my sister. Portions are large, you won’t leave hungry. The coffee was average, but there was attentive service and my cup was never empty. The grilled blueberry muffin is exactly what it sounds like, but an attraction in and of itself.

Place was great, showed up at noon on a Monday and had no wait to be greeted by their friendly waitress. Had the meatlovers breakfast with hash browns, they were super crispy which is my favorite. Food tasted great and came out quickly. Will definitely visit them again.

Conway Cafe WAS my favorite place to eat in Orlando. IT’S PERMANENTLY CLOSED NOW. The food is always prepared perfectly, is tasty and affordable. The service staff, cooks, and owner are beyond friendly. They are like my extended family, but better because they keep me fed.

Just ordered take out. Customer service on phone was good, but when we came in to pick up our food, the people working there were rude, and didn’t want to take a couple minutes to help us. They weren’t that busy either. Also when we were helped, the employee was rude. When we got home the food was overcooked, sub par quality and very small quantity in comparison to the pictures posted online and in comparison to other breakfast dinners in the area (Day Break Dinner, Jack and Mary’s, etc…) This was our first time there, and our last.

I want to like this place but it seems MUCH BETTER ENJOYED FROM A LOCALS’S POV. After getting seated, I WAS IGNORED for a bit while two later arriving tables were seated and served before me. Yet tables remained filled! Even the food- my Cali OMELET CONTAINED STILL-HARD AVOCADOS while our Hash Browns contained bites of BURNT POTATOES. It does have its good points- Scrambled Eggs as well as the Omelet were well done and even THE SERVICE WAS MUCH NICER AFTER I received my food. This place has likeable potential- I hope I just came during an ‘off’ time.

I don’t know how this place has 4 stars. Looking at the reviews I had high expectations for this place and I was let down. My fiancé and I were disappointed. The food was not only unreasonably expensive but also low quality. Sure we got our food quick but that’s because we’re sure they heated up already made food. Our food was not even hot and everything was bland and small portions for a high price. No wonder noone was in there. Don’t waste your time and money, go to golden corral you’ll spend just as much.

The food here is fabulous. The interior could use a bit of renovation, but honestly- the food here is the star. This is classic diner comfort food. The usual suspects are great- biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak.

The place itself was a little beat down, other than that it was great food and amazing friendly service. Very genuine and caring. I would highly recommend it if you love good food, friendly service and a little taste of the locals.
