Very disappointing. Haven’t been to a Heidi’s in a couple years and always remembered it being good. Walked in and there was 5 people sitting a table eating and no one behind the counter. Waited approximately 10 minutes and was about to walk out when finally 2 employees came out from the back. Food was subpar. The sourdough bread was rather soggy, avacado had turned fairly brown already, asked for no tomato but sandwich had tomato on it. Also ordered potato salad for the side but found coleslaw in the bag instead. The size of the side is no bigger than a ranch dipping cup from a fast food restaurant. Coleslaw was very bland lacking any flavor. Very disappointing in the quality of food and service especially for paying just shy of $20.00 for a sandwich

Earlier this week we came here for lunch. This was my first time ever to Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli. Boy, was I blown away – I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door with a friendly face. Since this was my first time, I always ask what their personal favorite items on the menu are, which they kindly shared & I decided to go with a hot sandwich called the Juliana… It was served to me perfectly warm w/ melted cheese & lightly toasted. It was so yummy & the complimentary combination of flavors & texture were spot on. My friend had a cold sandwich which she also immensely enjoyed & devoured. We came after the lunch rush, but the dining area was still busy with patrons. Service was friendly, quick and the food was fresh. We’ll definitely be back!!!!

When you first walk in it brings you in a different world old school vibes which is awesome.

Ordering is really confusing since they have a huge board in the back with more than two hundred things it feels like. You know it’s going to be expensive since they have a lot of varieties.

Ordering was good but did not explain how to order or give any tips. You have a huge menu help a new one out lol. I ordered but had to move to the next register weird?.

So the Food, you get to pick your bread and a side. Me and my fiance chose different bread but got the potato salad. Our food arrived in about five to tenish minutes. I was fine at first looking at the Cajun spread telling my fiance how thin it was thinking wow nice layers. Then I saw my fiance’s sandwich thinking… Thinking… This is just a regular sandwich. They don’t do anything unique the most thinest slice of meat I mean they use two or three smallest sizes of ingredients. My sandwich was 80 percent bread a thin spread with barely ingredients as well. The cherry on top was the potato salad you get one dipping cup of potato….. I wish I took a picture but it’s legit a condiment plastic cup that you take salsa to go. Not even a full cup just a sample spoon full.

For two meals it was 47$ but honestly lesson that menu and give more than just a couple slices like I couldn’t sleep the thinness was haunting me. Maybe put up pictures of some of your key items. I felt robbed by the end of the day. It was just a sandwich a sandwich I could’ve made at home…..

Probably won’t go back…

Sorry, if your sandwiches are on mini bagels I think you need to say that on the menu. Not worth the money and time.

Stopped before going to airport decided to just get a hot dog as the few other people seemed to be waiting around but only 8 of us in the whole place ..36 minutes later we received our 1 hot dog that was cold, bread dry and crumbly .oh and menu boards says it comes with chips .. but receipt says haha jk we charge for those…. seemed to be only one boy trying to do anything and 2 others roaming around .. don’t normally do reviews but yeah glad we didn’t order a sandwich pry would missed our flight ..

Update*** (Updated review at end of original review) I don’t know what has happened here, but things have really changed when it comes to service. I ordered a Hells Kitchen on marble rye…what I got was a slice of pumpernickel and a slice of who knows what. Instead of them telling me that they are out of marble rye and if I would like it to be on a different type of bread, they made that choice for me. The tomato’s are almost white in color and the onions are just a couple diced onions just sprinkled on this sad excuse for what Heidi’s sandwiches used to be. I eat at home now because every time I want to sit and dine in…I have to clean the crumbs and whatever else is living on the tables and seats before I can sit down. Really disappointed with how this establishment is going the opposite direction.

**UPDATE**
I was contacted about my experience and was asked to try this establishment once more with proper changes that have been put in place. Upon arrival, Raul greeted me right away and was kind and patient. I ordered the Hells Kitchen and it was made to perfection! This is how Heidi’s used to make their sandwiches! This is the Heidi’s I have grown to love over the last 20 years. Thanks so much to the team at the Brighton location, Raul, Estrella, and Angel, for making my dining experience wonderful! I will be returning if this is the new norm!

Mom took me here for lunch, I 1,000,000% recommend eating here any day. The food was very fresh and fast. The employees, Leah and Andrea, did an amazing job. Their customer service is outstanding. I will definitely be recommending this to other friends and family.

Heidi’s was a great find for us on a recent trip to Brighton Colorado. Tons of fresh hot or cold sandwich options. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Great feel to the place.

I got the sandwich “Juliana’s Fav” and was not disappointed. Fantastic hot sandwich with a balsamic dressing. We also ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich that was excellent too.

Definitely worth a visit. We will be back next time we visit the area.

Food is great. Had half a roast beef sandwich with Mac & cheese w/ green chille. Everything was fresh. Cold was cold and hot was hot. Service was a bit slow but they were working with a new POS system.
