My 1st time. Bought LG order of nachos. The nastiest we’ve ever had. The bottom of the plate was loaded in chips. Above the chips a bit of beans with some meat mixture. The cheese on top was about half an inch thick. Some type of cheap cheese. Unable to pass it. You could break the cheese into pieces. Someone needs to learn how to make nachos. Never mind chip burnt n some unable to chew. Trash can enjoyed them. Never again. Extremely expensive on tacos. Glad I didn’t try one.

I gave this place a chance, I really did. Walked in and got ignored by all three ladies that were there for a couple mins. Felt like I was back in highschool. Ordered the beef burrito, double sloppy. Was told they didnt have any drinks other than “some sodas”, I just went with water. Sat down and waited. Got my burrito, was pretty impressed by the size… until I cut into it. Entire thing was destroyed by black pepper. Another review on here has a picture of the same issue, mine looked identical.
Absolutely not worth the time, money, or the laughs I got the next day wiping in the bathroom and finding my stool was also covered in pepper. I add one star because the lights and ambiance made me feel like I was in an episode of Riverdale (I don’t like Riverdale).

I’ve been looking for dine in Chacho’s and found it and did not disappoint! My server was so nice!!! Other staff were nice also. Took a few minutes to be seated but did not matter. It was worth every minute! I wish they had spicy salsa but still great. There frozen drinks were NICE!

I soo wanted the nostalgic Chacho’s experience with this place . Like remembering tastes’ and ambiance you can count on since the 90’s for me. I ordered coffee and it was super hot which I like however after pouring cream into it; it was lumpy.i was given another cup and its was gross like it was made in a dirty pot. You just know fresh coffee when you get it . Then we got our food it all looked wonderful. Burritos and nachos. Huge portions and I had a half size too.My grandson had rice it was under cooked and hard. Our food was extremely salty and over peppered every thing the queso the meat the chicken was all over salty. My salsa tasted like old cilantro. I told the waitress and she kinda changed the subject on me. She was nice though her service was great. Very kind older Caucasian lady . This was my 1st bad experience with the food. I felt a little robbed like it was not a real Chacho’s. I know they are still working on the place and getting situated . I felt the need to share so management can fix the issues before we lose it again. Keep it how it was reliably good drinks, nachos and fajitas. Don’t let new cooks come in and tweak up the menu w too much of this or that. Take away the salt pepper and cilantro from whoever was cooking yesterday. Look closely at my burrito and u can see it. Anyways maybe I will try a different location and give an update. That was a costly lunch my daughter paid over 60 for so maybe why I’m also still a little off put by the experience.

Good comfort food. Nachos are a great price for as big as it was. It was ok.

This was one of the most confusing and frustrating restaurant experiences I’ve had.
We came in as a party of eight, with some of our group already seated for 20–30 minutes before everyone arrived. During that entire time, there was no signage, announcement, or warning that the dining area was not taking orders. People continued to come in, sit down, and review the menu as if everything were operating normally.
When we finally went to place our order, there was no one working the dining room register. After asking for help, an employee explained that she only had access to the drive-thru register, not the dining room register. The two registers are only about ten feet apart, and she was actively working at the drive-thru register at the time.
The issue wasn’t that orders couldn’t be taken — it was that orders could only be taken from one register, for one side of the building. Even though she was fully able to take orders at the drive-thru register, she told us she could not take our order for dine-in customers because she didn’t have access to the dining room register. In other words, the same order could be placed from the drive-thru, but not from inside the restaurant — despite the food being prepared the same way and easily served to customers dining in.
To make matters worse, the restaurant was not busy at all. There were only three or four parties total, including us.
This was a failure of communication and basic operational common sense. Staff knew people were seated and waiting, yet made no effort to post a “drive-thru only” sign or explain the situation ahead of time or at least lock the dining room door. We ultimately left without ever ordering food.
Very disappointing and poorly managed.

I have been going to Chacho’s for more than 20 years and they never disappoint! Nachos are always superb and filling, and if your in for some adult beverages, they have what you need. Literally, 1 margarita and your done, lol….highly recommend. Staff is friendly, food is good, drinks are fire….what more could you want.

I was recommended by a few people to try this restaurant. Let’s just say, I was highly disappointed. I came here more than 3 times to try it out with different employees and every time I was disappointed. I’ve gotten a salad a few times and every single time they say they are out of croutons. I’ve gotten the full size burrito and the half size and let’s just say it’s better to get the full size because this is what your half size will look like. Compare the half size to the full size and you can see how poorly the half size is put together. I’ve ordered pina coladas through the drive through and inside but I only seem to get cherries when going inside and every time I go through the drive thru I’m told they are out when clearly they are not. And let’s not start about the attitudes the ladies in the drive thru give. They are extremely rude. And I’ll just leave it at that. But they know who they are. I’m extremely disappointed in the whole work crew and restaurant I will not be returning.

Red Neon signs EVERYWHERE.
We ordered a queso and asked how much a large is, the waitress told us that it was a Pint, questioning, like she wasn’t sure. We didn’t need two whole cups of queso so we got the next size down, thinking it would be like half or somewhere in the middle.
No, they gave us this tiny little dip cup of queso.
We must have been here for at least 20min and she hasn’t come back to take our order.
When she finally came back after voicing out that we were waiting to take our order, I asked about the sizing for the cups because she said that it was the medium size and I asked her to clarify the sizing and what she told us was totally different. So I told her we ordered the medium, which she explained was half a pint, and the small dip cup she gave us was 4oz which was the small… which was NOT what we ordered.
One of the tables next to us also complained that there was hair in their food while their original waiter was being sent home and someone else took over their table. Are their cooks not wearing hair nets?
I ordered a basic item; Shredded Chicken Burrito
There was barely any chicken, or rice or beans. Like 90% was cheese and lettuce, wrapped in one of those small thick tortillas, and was nowhere near the size the waitress made it out to be. The Chachos in Houston were much better with their food quality and amount. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location.
All in all my rating is as follow:
Food: 5/10 (not portioned as described and lacking flavor
Service: 6/10 (Waiter took 20min to check on is, and only after I said something audibly, then only came to check on us once during our meal)
Atmosphere: 3/10 (too many red Neon signs, enough to be one in every window. Most Chachos locations are much bigger than this. Waiters seem scarce and not very attentive to their customers.)
And no military discount, for those wondering. A restaurant right next to Lackland and no military discount. Shame.
