There was a good variety of food to choose from and the food was very tasty. My table ordered our food and when it came out, they had combined the duplicate dishes and had the sushi all on one plate. This was fine as we were ok with sharing our food and eating a family style lunch. I love how it was a buffet so we can order as much as we would like. Also, some of the food has a small portion so we could order just a little bit to try each item. For example, the shrimp tempura. One order of the shrimp tempura comes with just one but if I want more, I can just order more. This comes in handy as we would be charged for food waste, which is understandable because it is a buffet and they don’t want people to be wasting food. I loved the fried dumplings and the fried shu mai! The beef udon was very tasty and refreshing as well. The soft and chewy udon noodles really went well with the crunchy veggies they had in the soup. I’ve never had sashimi before, but I tried their yellow tail sashimi and it wasn’t too bad. I was surprised that it wasn’t as fishy as what I had imagined and the cucumber slices they gave with it really complimented the fish.
Overall, I would definitely go back with my kids and as a date night. I live about an hour away from Rochester, but I would definitely make the drive just for this place.

We waited 15+ minutes even though there were empty tables, when I asked why, the hostess told us the tables weren’t clean, then rudely said, “If you want, you can sit at a dirty table.” That was really bad. The food, however, was good, and our waiter Lina was super friendly, had a warm smile, and made us feel welcome.

Amazing! The food was hot, fresh, and every item of the all you can eat lunch menu was delicious. We were both in awe. The staff were so wonderful too! Especially our waitress, she took it to another level and made it an experience! First round was fast maybe 10 minutes. Second round was like 20, but they apologized for the wait, not that we noticed because thats a reasonable wait, and it was just all around a fantastic time. Would reccomend 100%! That waitress deserves a raise! 🙂

This was our first night and meal in Minnesota during a road trip. Our waitress was Lena and she was an absolute joy! She gave suggestions, offered us sauces and combinations that were here favorite. She was kind, funny, and all around amazing! The food was also top notch! We loved everything we were given. We highly recommend this place and hope that those reading this can experience the greatness that is Lena!

Ordered to go. Polite and helpful service. I like the soy sauce not being in packets. And they are generous with the small filled containers they give out. I will try their dine in at a later day. The roll was good, but a little on the small side. But still full of flavor and fresh shrimp and avocado.

I LOVE! Kumo Sushi. This place is AMAZING! But more than the place, the server I request every single time I come in. I never want another server. Her name is Lina (I’m not sure if this is the correct spelling), but she sure deserves a raise. I go there FOR HER. I have heard of other all you can eat sushi places in town, and I’ve never tried a single one because I wouldn’t want to miss out on seeing my favorite lady. You don’t find service like this anymore. I always tip large amounts for her. She deserves it. The food is INCREDIBLE.
