First time here in a while! I heard they had a fire and they were closed for a little bit and now they are open again! As far as food quality goes it is great! Just as great as the last time I ate here moons ago! The burgers and wings are always so good and the staff is so friendly and welcoming! Sam’s Diner is a classic!

When we moved to Holley a year ago, we were excited to know that there was a diner right around the corner from the house. After Sam’s reopened, we’ve walked down there a couple times, and both times have been nothing short of spectacular. With how busy they are, service is a little slow. Absolutely do not fault them for that, they were closed for the past year. I can absolutely understand why this place is as busy as it is. The food is absolutely delicious and it’s reasonably priced compared to other diners in the area. It’s also kid friendly, and having an array of items for a small child to choose from is definitely a plus.
Highly recommend the Philly Wrap. Whatever wrap they use makes it taste REALLY good.

Wasn’t greeted by anyone when we walked in. Didn’t know if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait. None of the tables were cleaned off so had to figure out ourselves that there was upper seating. Finally got someone to give us menus after two waitress were arguing if they actually wanted to take our table or not.. While we waited for them to come back 15 minutes to see what we wanted. They asked for just our drinks to which I replied that we were just ready to order. Order a wrap and fries, my husband did as well and our child wanted mac and cheese (kids meal, it states it comes with a scoop of ice cream at the end). It took over 45 minutes to get food. They brought out the two wraps and no mac and cheese. I asked to just get boxes for everything because it was a Thursday night and we needed to get home. No compensation off the bill. Plus I had to ask for our child’s scoop of ice cream to which the lady behind the counter (not the waitress) said she would need to ask the waitress because she didn’t know if we actually got it already or not. The drinks which was two sodas and a lemonade tasted horrible (like the ice cubes were made with hard water). We were told great things about this place but we will never step foot back there again and I’ll ensure to let others know how they treat people.

So glad Sam’s is back up and running! We were finally able to stop in for breakfast since they reopened. Service was great; we had a really sweet server who kept the coffee flowing. Breakfast and coffee were hot, fresh, and tasty. Can’t beat a great local diner. Welcome back Sam’s, you were missed!

Finished off our hike in Holley at this awesome little diner. Parking is in front of the diner which is located in a postcard perfect town that looks like a movie set. We were offered lunch and breakfast menus in the afternoon which is nice to have choices.
I ordered the tuna club which was really good with fresh tuna salad and crispy toast. My lunch companion got the Monte Cristo which the waitress suggested he eat with syrup. I’ve never seen him finish a sandwich before his fries before. That’s really saying something because this place honestly has the best fries. Crispy and maybe battered and seasoned? Not sure but they’re the best.
Friendly service and great prices round out this dining experience. Definitely will be back.

Great Local Restaurant. Well the ONLY Local Restaurant.lol. Service/Waitresses are Great! The only thing I don’t care for is the ‘Portions’ of the Meals are Less, while Prices went up. Other than that, would Highly Recommend.

My wife and I stoped by Sam’s Dinner for lunch. The had a lot of different choices, it was hard to decide what to pick. Both of us where surprised how tasty everything was. Great prices and great food. The place was clean, nice atmosphere and friendly customer service! If you in town and looking for a place to grab a bite to eat then I would recommend Sam’s Dinner!
