We believe in living a clean, natural and organic lifestyle mirroring that of the old world, where people eat only local foods. Most of our ingredients are certified organic and we source from local farmers to promote sustainability. We want to showcase how fertile the Southern Oregon valley is and the amazing bounty available from local farmers.
We’re excited to share our wine and food knowledge with Southern Oregon. We want to educate anyone willing to learn on wines of the world as well as how they compare to local wines. We will strive to constantly create new menu items and wine pairings.

Good food. That’s well prepaired, healthy options.COD was a well balanced entire. I intended to leave after my Cure cocktail (substitute the Grey Gose for Hendricks, it’s much better) but I was discovered their exceptional desert menu. One of the few places that offer Pavolva AND port. I added decaf espresso with lemon peel and cream, then added a dollop of the chai ice cream for sweetener. (It negatively impacted the caloric intake of my Cod but what the hell, it’s the last Friday of the month and I work on commission )
I have no idea how I’ve existed in the wrong income bracket for so long. My palate is way too bougie for my income but their prices are in alignment with the quality & value. Lord help me “I’ll be back”

There was a very large group right in the middle of the restaurant. They were sooooo loud we couldn’t even hear ourselves talk. I had to literally lean into my husband and talk directly into his ear. It got tiresome talking like this so we resorted to long stints of awkward silence. There has to be a better area for groups that big. Just constructive criticism because otherwise things were phenomenal. The food was fantastic and all of the staff is great.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I went for a friend’s birthday. The staff was really fun and had amazing service. Food and drinks were so delicious. Atmosphere was great! It’s a cute little place and it was fun talking to other guests. Austin was an awesome waiter and we enjoyed the drinks from the bartender. Honestly, I wasn’t sure about going at first seeing the prices, but once I was there, the experience and food were worth it! Highly recommend it. I definitely plan to go back.

Lily was the BEST! She provided incredible service for our honeymoon dinner! We couldn’t have asked for better service or meal. Food was incredible and priced to taste. We will definitely return if in the area.

Decant never disappoints!
We had another incredible experience and Austin was our server again — he is truly amazing. Attentive, warm, and always makes the evening feel special.
The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, the desserts were phenomenal, and the mocktails were so yummy and creative. You can really tell how much care goes into every detail here.
Decant continues to be one of our favorite spots in Medford. Highly recommend!

Decant has been a favorite local fine-dining option of mine. The food quality remains outstanding. However, the prices have skyrocketed since we last came. They charged us $9 for bread, and two stamp-sized pieces of focaccia came out to greet us. For some reason, that felt excessive and rubbed us the wrong way. Didn’t set the best tone.
The entrées were outstanding and executed to perfection. The tri-tip was seasoned beautifully and the accompanying BBQ sauce provided a contrasting sweet kick to each savory bite. We also had the halibut which was a gorgeous umami experience, bathing in a delicious dashi. I didn’t leave behind a single drop.
The ambience in the outdoor patio is very romantic. At least three couples were celebrating their anniversary dinner there. It may be worth it to stop by for a rare special occasion, but otherwise I doubt we will be back anytime soon. While the food is great, the Manhattan-level pricing puts it out of reach if value is important to you.

Everything is super phenomenal. It’s like walking into a Michelin restaurant. I highly recommend the Chopped Cesar salad, Ahi Tuna, The Halibut is by far, one of the best I’ve ever had.

I am sincerely impressed! The hostess was lovely and helped us change our reservation without question. When we arrived we were gently welcomed and seated, and immediately asked if we were celebrating anything. We were; my move to Ashland. We talked for a bit and the our server came to introduce himself. What a gem! Austin is gentle, informative, knowledgeable, proud of his work, spoke clearly and with intention. Extremely professional. He shared that his mom made the sourdough at her home for the restaurant! And it’s GOOD! He gave us recommendations that were spot on and was impeccable on his timing and grace throughout the entire meal. I mean probably some of the best service I’ve experienced in a long time. Very impressed. Then the food… oh my goodness… some of the most exquisite, curated, and delicious items I have eaten! The mushroom bisque was off the charts good! The beef carpaccio was to die for. Then the main courses; I tried the Line Cod, the filet, and I ordered the lamb. All were so decadent and so flavorful. Next time I’d like to explore the wine list! I was too full for dessert but the menu looked wonderful. I will not only be back, but I will be bringing people with me to share the experience. I’m so grateful for a seasonal, local menu I can enjoy.
