We stopped by Bacchus Wine Bistro expecting a quick lunch and it somehow turned into almost two unforgettable hours. This French-inspired bistro has a way of pulling you in and making you want to stay.
We started with excellent wine and a cocktail, and the sangria was dangerously easy to drink. From there, every dish felt thoughtful and full of flavor.
The sardines served on croutons were perfectly seasoned. The trio du jour was a standout: the chef’s hummus, the olive salad and the creamy pecorino dip was to die for. The veggie flatbread was crisp and packed with flavor.
Even the crostini that came with the dishes were perfectly toasted, nothing overlooked. The foie gras, one of our favorites melted in your mouth .
A special shoutout to Briana, our server, she was the cutest thing ever, so sweet, and took wonderful care of us throughout our visit.
Being French, I could truly enjoy every flavor it brought back tastes I miss from home. We drive two hours to come here and honestly can’t bring ourselves to go anywhere else. We always stop at Bacchus, and it never disappoints. Incredible food, beautiful wine, and a warm atmosphere that keeps us coming back again and again.

I’ve been coming to Bacchus Wine Bistro in St. Petersburg for some time now, and every visit has been consistently excellent. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, and the food is always outstanding. Everything is prepared with great attention to detail and the quality is consistently impressive.
The service is exceptional. Alex is fantastic — very professional, attentive, and always making sure everything is perfect. He truly goes above and beyond to provide a great experience, and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. All of the other servers and staff are also very friendly and attentive, creating a great environment.
One dish I highly recommend is the steak tartare — it’s absolutely delicious and always perfectly prepared.
Bacchus Wine Bistro is definitely one of my favorite spots in St. Petersburg, and I will certainly keep coming back.

Went for Mother’s Day. Atmosphere is phenomenal! Sunday was our server who was absolutely fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and had great suggestions. She was very attentive and friendly. The food was hands down a must try! I’m vegetarian and got the flatbread. It was delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try their grilled cheese. 10/10

We had the most incredible evening and the best charcuterie board ever! Alex took great care of us, and recommended a cheese that ended up being one of our favorite picks. Every single cheese and meat was absolute perfection, along with the bread and happy hour drinks. We reserved the table on OpenTable and it was ready for us even though we showed up early. Definitely recommend, 11/10! It will be a night we remember for a long time!

We have dined here a couple times when visiting St Pete and have enjoyed our experience. They have a great wines lists and craft beer options as well. We ordered French Onion Soup, the Trio Platter and created our own charcuterie board. Everything was delicious and very plentiful. We will be back! 10/10 recommend
