Jo was a fantastic server – have great recommendations, very friendly and attentive! The brisket grilled cheese and mashed potatoes were delicious! Loved the cornbread too!

Neither my husband or myself were overly impressed. The whole time we sat there, I noticed our waitress being friendly with everyone but us. I didn’t say anything but was thinking it. When we left, my husband said he thought the waitress seemed unfriendly toward us for some reason. So apparently, she had some kind of problem with us, and I have no idea why.
The food was good, nothing to get excited about, but good. The stuffed baked potato was a good deal from the lunch menu, it included a salad and garlic bread. The salad was simple, but cold and fresh. The brisket grilled cheese, though, didn’t really justify the $19.99 price tag. Probably wouldn’t order it again just based on the price.
I would return, try something different, and hope for friendlier service.

I will start with the positive our server was great always smiled and was very pleasant that being said my food was not so good I got the half chicken and the skin was so tough even my knife had trouble cutting through it and the chicken itself was very dry and the mashed potatoes were basically a solid and had zero taste. There are too many choices in Grove City at the same price point that are much better so won’t be back.

I visited Smokey Bones in Grove City, and from the moment I arrived, the experience stood out. I couldn’t even get the door halfway open before Evan, the hostess, eagerly greeted me. His warmth and eagerness were a pleasant surprise. He was very pleasant, smiled, and provided exceptional customer service, so much so that I felt it was worth leaving a review.

The atmosphere was also nice and clean, which added to the overall experience. And last, but certainly not least, the food was amazing. The loaded fries with the rib glaze were absolutely delicious. 10 out of 10.

I haven’t seen a Smokey Bones in over 15 years since living in Orlando, so spotting one in Columbus was a pleasant surprise. The place was quiet, and the staff greeted me right away. I ordered the beef brisket—tender, juicy, and falling apart on the fork. The “buy one entrée, get one free” deal made it even better. But the real star was the cornbread with that incredible butter—hands down the best I’ve ever had. Great service, great food, and pure nostalgia.

This is supposed to be the chili they have with brisket. There is absolutely no meat in this chili. It is a bowl of beans and cheese. I also got a ceasar salad and most of the lettuce was turning brown. I wasted over $20 on this food and it wasn’t appealing at all. I ordered my food to go so maybe it’s just a to go thing because I’ve never had an issue when I ate in the restaurant.

Very good smells. We tried all the sauces, and they were pretty good. We tried the brisket grilled cheese, loaded mashed the Nutty salad (beware, they will toss it in honey mustard). I asked for it on the side. The food was good. I would definitely stop in to try the ribs and pulled pork.

Never been here before so I had the Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Smokey Bones wings, with a side of coleslaw and a baked potato. So good I wish you could smell and taste the deliciousness through my post! Kristina was my waitress and she did an awesome job taking care of things. I’ll certainly be back for sure! Oh yeah, and a decent price for all that food…..
