I have lived just blocks from this restaurant from the day it opened. I have eaten here probably 1000s of times. It is a family-run business. And I can say with 100% confidence that the reviewers who claim they were “cursed out” by the delivery driver or yelled at over the phone, etc., are 100% false. This place has been serving quality American-Chinese food day in and day out for years and years.
The egg rolls are great, the hot and sour soup is a particular favorite of mine, the steamed dumplings, boneless spare ribs, egg foo Yung, lo mein, general tsos chicken and the vegetables in broccoli sauce are all great too.
If you live here, you know. Don’t let a bunch of liars with a hidden agenda make decisions for you. Be smarter than they are. It’s not hard.

The foods here are quite authentic and classic Sichuan dishes, elaborate and clean. Decorations are modern. This restaurant just became another reason I like our beautiful Great Neck.

Food was okay, but the delivery guy was absolutely awful, he insulated me when I paid for the food and gave him tip but apparently “the tip I gave him wasn’t enough ” he cursed me out and start yelling at me . Worst customer service ever. I do not recommend this place , there’s better options and you save yourself from getting yelled at.

1) Experienced OVERPRICING food: I ordered a large fried beef noodle (大牛劳)and they gave me a small. (Similar Experience as another Reviewer)
2) I called back to the store and the lady was very RUDE and YELLING at me that they gave me a large size beef noodle where they put more ingredients in it. Later on, I ask for the diameter of the food container of the large and small. She reply the large container is 7in. and the small is 6in., also saying that two men can eat one large would be full.
3) The delivery man thinks I’m a free ATM, asking me to give more tips.
4) A few months ago, the price of the food increased by 50cent. After, the experience of the beef noodle. I don’t know if I’m the only one being added extra money or not.
5) The food is very oily and it doesn’t takes that good. For example, the Singapore noodle is not separated equally.
6) All that 5 star reviews with no comments just make me think that they bought the positive reviews.

Today was the first time we took out food from Yummy Chinese Restaurant. We had egg drop wonton soup, shrimp with mixed vegetables, and chicken fried rice. The food was well prepared and very tasty. We will certain return to Yummy.

Very affordable, Good basic Americanized Chinese food. The sauces are very standard, and everything of a sauce type tastes the same so get dishes with starkly different sauces or it’s all the same dish, I’d recommend a garlic sauce, a lobster sauce, and anything in a brown. The house friwd rice and dumplings are excellent – I always get these with some vegatable dish and some meaty entrees. A plus with super cheap lunch specials, and lots of odd Western lunch options like fried chicken and fries.

I have noticed they constantly over charge you from their menu price. I ordered two dishes for $9.00.They charged me $22.10 my more like a 15% tax instead of 8.625%. Be aware!
