We came here because we heard about the sushi discount on Tuesdays. We were warmly greeted by 3 teens, the one who spoke first mumbled under her mask.
Escorted to our seat, we experienced terrific service, tasty appetizers and delicious sushi.
Which sushi was discounted could have been made more clear either in the menu, a supplement or by the wait staff.

One of the best Bento Boxes I’ve had ! Came here for the lunch special ($12.99 chicken bento box ) and was absolutely amazed at how fresh the food tasted ! I never order bento boxes on a lunch special because I always presume the food will be old and stale tasting. Not this place ! Even down to their spring rolls ! Very crispy and fresh ! Everything was made to order , so it took about 15 minutes on a slow day , but I had no complaints at all ! Service was great everyone works together. Great job !

I’m a regular customer at another atami location, and today I come to this location at Atami east Cobb when I meeting a friend. I’m really happy to say the food quality is just as good as always! Everything was fresh well prepared. And full of flavors. It’s great to see that atami keeps the same high standards across different locations. I was so hungry today, I forgot to take a photo of the delicious sushi! My family and I eat Atami almost weekly! Chicken katsu bento box, sushi, and general Tao’s chicken are huge faves! We also get the clear soup and ginger salads. Tuesdays they have 40% off all sushi, which is the best time to try new rolls. We love the quality of food and the service is always on point. The boba tea is great too! Highly recommend.

Our waitress was Priscilla on a Tuesday night, and our hibachi chef was Cowboy. We went for a 10-year-old‘s birthday and sat at the hibachi grill. The food was great cowboy and Priscilla were wonderful and made it so special for the birthday girl singing happy birthday letting her flip the food. It was just a wonderful experience paid so much attention to her. If you have a special occasion, this is a wonderful place to go

My wife and I arrived at 4pm Friday and the hostess seated is immediately in a booth. Hibachi seating is also available.
The server was attentive and observant and took out drink and appetizer order immediately.
We tried steamed gyoza and Fried calamari. Both were delicious. The calamari was extra crispy compared to other places that offer it.
My wife is picky about steak wellness and was hesitant to order the Bento with steak, but I convinced her to give Atami chefs the benefit of the doubt, so that’s what she ordered. She want disappointed! The bento comes with salad, beef broth soup, choice of rice, 2 fried gyoza, 8 pieces of California roll, 2 tempura shrimp and 2 layers of steak. It was too big for one meal.
I ordered the Shrimp tempura. Also comes with the same soup, salad, choice of rice and of tempura: 5 – 3 inch shrimp, 2 brocolli, 1 mushroom, 1 sweet potato. All very crispy and delicious (consider that I am writing this the day after I went). Spent~$65 for all that.
I think we found a favorite Japanese restaurant, and we have been to many off of Cobb Parkway
UPDATE: Returned for dinner another day and thoroughly enjoyed the Scallop Bento! (except for sand in scallops 🙁

Atami is absolutely fantastic. The hibachi chefs are talented, fun to watch, and the food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly right in front of you. The portions are generous, the staff is welcoming, and the whole experience feels lively and genuine every time. If you want great food with great energy, Atami never disappoints.

We have been coming for many years, always great service and always high quality sushi and food. This time I did a pick up so all my pictures are in togo containers. Crispy wings, pan fried dumplings, house lo mein, California roll, salmon and cucumber roll, and a yellowtail jalapeño roll. Everything was delicious. Will continue to return! Fried rice is also fantastic and the hibachi options.
