An absolute unique experience to enjoy a traditional summertime treat! The facility is clean, interior design/features are adorable, staff were friendly and prompt with our orders. We are traveling for a work conference from the north, this TN heat is profoundly different for us so finding this gem of a place was not only a relief but we also highly recommend for anyone seeking to enjoy some “rolled” ice cream!

Great place and friendly employees. The rolled ice cream is definitely something to try. It’s handmade in the store and made to order in front of you. The owner was very friendly. If you are at the Embassy by Hilton at the convention center, you definitely want to make sure you stop by. It’s in walking distance.

I didn’t like mine at all. I got the brown sugar flavor and it was decent but not incredible. They also put little jelly bits on it and they were repulsive. I didn’t order them but apparently they come with that flavor? I also got chocolate chip cookies as a topping but it was a cheap chocolate chip cookie stuck in the cup. I was expecting it crumbled into it I guess.
I would give it fewer stars but my spouse got the cheesecake flavor and loved it. And my friend got cookies and cream and it was pretty good (not great, but way better than the brown sugar).
It’s really expensive for the amount of ice cream you get as well. Not impressed but maybe it’s just the flavor I got.

Delicious and professional! 10/10, would come back again. He said that they make everything homemade and I believe it!

Awesome, fun, very cool place. Very unique. The atmosphere is trendy and hip.
It was busy when we got there right before closing on a Thursday night so it’s also a popular place. Despite the amount of customers we had virtually zero wait before ordering.
The store is very clean and well maintained and the staff was very friendly and talented.
My daughter got an Oreo ice cream cup. The ice cream maker person took condensed milk and poured it out on a frozen surface, chopped up a couple Oreos and spread it out into a thin frozen sheet of ice cream. He divided it up and rolled it into five small rolls of ice cream and put it in a cup. I got a shot of espresso mixed in with mine. It was wonderfully tasty. We will be back for more.

Wow! This ice cream was awesome! Definitely a must try experience. The menu is somewhat confusing at first, but with a good read and watching others order it’s simple. I say 5 stars for taste, presentation, customer service and value of product! However, I rated 4 stars due to seating, (very trendy couches, but not convenient for small groups & the use of space) no outside seating available, & small space. The business is fairly new and one of it’s kind in the area, so it’s very busy and the way the ice cream is made you will have to wait. (WORTH THE WAIT) Unfortunately the set up of the space doesn’t allow you to wait comfortably, just very cramped. I think with time and small improvements these things will get better and the business will thrive!

Friendly staff. Ice cream was expensive but topping justified the price. Ice cream was more on the thick side.

The first time I came here I was really nervous ordering myself but ever since I went more often the lady at the counter was really patient when I was struggling to talk! Love her for that. The milk tea and ice cream roll are really delicious in my opinion I would recommend brown sugar for the milk tea and the New York style. Anyways love this place and I hope in the future I would come more often.

We try to visit a rolled ice cream shop every time we roadtrip so we went slightly off our route to get here. Which made the disappointment even worse. The booths and fish tank were nice, but the lighting was dim, and the entire space was cluttered with anime merchandise hanging from racks or wrapped in cheap cellophane on every surface. Overall, the atmosphere just felt like a money grab. The lady who checked us out was kind to my son but I wish she would have been honest with me that the pecans were all burnt when I ordered (not doing so is putting money before your customers). And that brings me to the ice cream itself, that is the most important part anyway, right? With the exception of my husband, who ordered the banana swirl, we all threw our ice cream away. It was that bad. We love ice cream, so it takes a lot, I mean A LOT of bad for us to throw away full $7 cups of ice cream. The pecans in the butter pecan were burnt and ruined the ice cream completely. The minty dream tasted like toothpaste. The chocolate ice cream, with nothing mixed in, was sour (SOUR?!?) and you couldn’t even taste the chocolate. Cold Grill Ice Cream is going on the “never ever again” list. This one is a hard pass, my friends.
