Beginning from a roadside food trailer in 2013, and opening a restaurant in 2021, Big Dan’s BBQ continues to serve the best BBQ around. The restaurant inside Rohrbach’s Farm Market, in the barn loft. The restaurant is open seasonally, opening from the end of April to the end of December. We are available for catering all year round.

we knew we wanted BBQ for our wedding, so we tried a few local spots, and Big Dan’s absolutely blew everyone else out of the water. he was a one man show and catered for over 200 people effortlessly. the pulled chicken, pulled pork, chicken thighs, mac & cheese, and everything else were unreal. we had so many guests come up to us at our wedding and after saying it was the best wedding meal they’d ever had. incredible food and an even more impressive operation. highly recommend!

Stopped in on a rainy day while on the road. No dry, stingy and sad portions to be had here.
Pork, brisket and chicken were delicious. Pulled brisket usually pops up as a red flag for me but this brisket was tender and moist. As for sides I really enjoyed the Mac and cheese and potato salad. The cane sugar soda fountain was an added bonus. And ALL of the sauces were good.
I live 1.5 hrs from here but it beats my local bbq places and I would def take a trip back on my day off. They didn’t have ribs but I hope to try them soon.

My husband and I were out on one of our adventures for my birthday and this place didn’t disappoint. The staff was super friendly, the food was amazing and the building was gorgeous. It was definitely a great experience. We will be back, it is absolutely worth a 4 hour drive.

John at Big Dan’s BBQ took care of our catering order and he was great to deal with. Answered all of my questions and gave advice on what to order. Without his help and knowledge I don’t think our family picnic would’ve went as smoothly as it did. Definitely recommend John and Big Dan’s BBQ not just for catering but also to stop in and eat as we’ve now done both. Came here for peach picking and the adorable Farmers market, but the smells wafting out of Big Dan’s BBQ beckoned us up the stairs. It did not disappoint. Each item; brisket, pork, drumstick, and andouille sausage had distinct flavors, and picking a favorite was extremely challenging. I highly recommend the sampler of its your first time.

I just went to Big Dan’s BBQ yesterday and it is the best! I’ve had BBQ in Arkansas, Colorado, Kentucky, Maryland, Las Vegas, NV, North Carolina, Lancaster and Reading, PA, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia, these ribs and brisket are the best I’ve tasted. Everything has that genuine smoky flavor through and through, including the chicken drumsticks and pulled pork, and then you can add any of their 6 homemade sauces. Great homey atmosphere, too. The whole Big Dan’s BBQ team are very attentive and fantastic to their customers!

Quite simply put, the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Super moist, super tender, super flavorful. Even the sides and sauces are great. It’s good enough to warrant an hour drive for me just to get it. I recommend it to anyone.
