IF YOU SEE THE YOUNGER GUY WORKING DONT WASTE TIME
Ever since the new guy started working I feel like the quality of the food has gone down dramatically I would even go to say that it’s borderline garbage. Most of the time you have to repeat your order to him multiple over and over again so he doesn’t mess it up. And now when you get your food he leaves huge chunks of chicken on your plate which is not what I asked for. I took 2 bites and immediately went to throw it away. I REPEAT IF YOU SEE THE YOUNGER GUY WORKING DONT WASTE TIME

I got myself a combo gyro at this cart and only paid $6 for it. It wasn’t the heftiest gyro I’ve ever had but it tasted delicious with a strong smell of seasonings and for that price, you can’t beat it. All the carts near me in South Queens are charging $7, $8 and one cart is even charging $9 for a combo gyro. The fact that this joint is pumping out good gyros for a measly $6 post inflation is amazing imo, but I don’t expect the prices to last. This place isn’t as highly rated as the Hamza cart nearby but during the time that I went, this place was easily getting twice the foot traffic of the nearby cart. Coincidence, maybe, but I’m happy that I don’t actually live near these two carts or else I’d eventually need a wheelchair . As I write this review, I currently haven’t received any food poisoning yet so there’s that.

Used to be good, went recently the young guy barely chopped the chicken right. Had big pieces of chicken and pretty sure some uncooked pieces of chicken, threw most of the platter out after couple of bites.

Best halal cart in Queens NY. Love their food. If there is not enough food at home, and need time to prepare, we just go there to pickup our favorite mix chicken & lamb with rice & pieces of pita bread. Their green sauce is my favorite. Nice & friendly customer service with verity options. You just ask them how do you like your food, they will just make it for you.

Tonight was the first time I got Mecca Halal food after months of not getting it. I don’t get it as often as before because I live in Suffolk, but when I’m in the Nassau or Queens area and am craving some halal food, this is my go to spot.
I feel the food has gotten better and more tasty since I last got it in maybe 6 or more months ago. This halal cart won’t disappoint you. You should definitely come to this cart and give their food a try. Plus, you’ll get a free beverage if you order a platter.

Quite honestly not a fan. The man didn’t get our order right and the food okay. The rice had a bland flavor whereas other cards have a flavor to them and the lamb really is not that great. The chicken is not too bad. Still favor other carts over this.
